Holding each and everyone close to her heart in a tender embrace - known as darshan - Amma showers her boundless love on all, regardless of their beliefs, who they are or why they have come to her. Through this simple yet powerful act, Amma demonstrates the power of unconditional love and acceptance. Amma does not ask anyone to change their faith or believe in God, but gently guides each individual to a deeper understanding and experience of one's own true Self. FREE PROGRAMMESThe programme is free and open to all. To get an embrace from Amma (darshan), you will need a token. Free tokens will be issued 75 minutes before the start of each programme on a first-come-first-served basis. Tokens are limited so please arrive early. Keep your token carefully as a replacement will not be possible. PROGRAMME SCHEDULE. FRIDAY 17 NOV : - 8:30: Doors & Snack-bar open (tokens at approx 8:45) -10:00: Amma arrives, Meditation and Darshan Mid-afternoon break -19:30: Welcome, Spiritual Talk, Singing, Meditation, Darshan until late (tokens at approx 18:15) . SATURDAY 18 NOV : - 8:30: Doors and Snack-bar open (tokens at approx 8:45) - 10:00: Amma arrives, Meditation and Darshan Mid-afternoon break - 19:00: Puja Ceremony for World Peace, Talk, Meditation, Devi Bhava Delicious vegetarian meals and snacks, books and other items will be for sale. Relaxing massages and Ayurveda consultations will be offered. Despite the late hours, we request that out of respect, people refrain from sleeping in the hall. A children's corner and cloakroom are available. Donations towards Amma's humanitarian projects are welcome. All proceeds go to Amma's charities. I have had a hug from her a long time ago and although I go to her programmes in London one hug is enough for me. I go mostly to make new friends and listen to Bhajans on stage.
I prefer not to hug or even shake hands with anybody as 90% don't wash their hands after using the toilet.
