Traditionally, horned Gods have been Gods of nature and fertility, representatives of the Divine Sacred Feminine. The connection with the emotional state of arousal, horny is obvious. It is a valid and important emotional state. like fear anger sadness, grief and guilt, 

Arousal is our most empowered 3d state. (love is quatum).  It is the state that overcomes the inertia of sadness. Sadness, in its pure state, is the physical indicator that we are out of a state of love. And we feel sorrow for this. The ONLY reason the that we fall out of a state of love is fear. Fear to take action on our wants and desires. In a 3 dimensional state, our wants and desires are valid. Taking action on that which we want is one of the ways we communicate love to ourselves. Doesn't mean you will always get them. It is the recognition, the acknowledgement of I WANT. I DESIRE, that matters. That you are being honest in how you communicate these wants and desires to yourself and others. This is an expression of love of self.

Of course, having a population in a state of love is not very useful if you are wanting to control them. A state of perpetual sadness is much more effective. because you have them perpetually wanting. So how do you do this? The powers that be have worked hard at suppressing arousal. They have worked overtime to create a state of shame and guilt around human sexuality. And it starts by vilifying the horned gods. The Devil being the obvious one. Its interesting to note that the word devil is an anagram of the word lived. Likewise the word evil is an anagram of the word live. Lust, slut.This is no accident. The negative connotations are recognized by the unconscious and acted upon accordingly.

One of the other horned Gods to cop a pasting was the Greek God Pan, or Sartyros. Apart from the generic Horned God attributes, Pan was also the God Of shepherds and flocks. (And a companion to the nymphs. Some Gods get all the good jobs :). 

In Greek the word Pan means All.

In the Greek Orthodox faith the expression used for the Mother Mary is Pan-ayia. Which translates to All Holly.

For a god that is connected to nature, fertility and a servant of the Divine Sacred Feminine it is curious that Pan has such a poor reputation. It doesn't make sense.

Of course the connections here are obvious. In bringing Pan and his nymph hunting antics into disrepute those with designs on power had created a precedent for the suppression of the Divine Sacred Feminine, and thus female sexuality in Christianity. (Not to mention Christ, The shepherd of humanity, Save that for another discussion). Which leads us back to the state of arousal.

I know this is going to be a point of contention with the those that make a living out being perpetually sad. However God did not create us without a number of built in healing mechanisms. 

It is fear the takes us out of love. this is entirely appropriate. When I speak of emotions I speak of them in their pure, uncorrupted state. Thus fear is an emotion of survival . A heightened state of awareness. It is that which allows us to assess in a heart beat potential risks, and a course of action. Anger then takes over and acts on the decision that has been reached by fear. It is not appropriate to be loved up when there is danger. You need to have all your energies available for survival.

Sadness is where we go when we have been out of love, in fear for an extended period of time. Or we have lost a loved one. Or anything of that nature. There is no danger. You just need something to allow you to feel good about yourself. This is the job of arousal. It is that which allows us to literally "turn on" again. To start heading back in the direction of love. Because there is no reason for us to remain out of love. There is no cross for us to bear. There is no glory in suffering, contrary to popular belief. However if you have locked yourself  out arousal you can't do that. You have to do the next best thing. And so you turn to anger. which kind of does the job, but not really. It takes you out of sadness via the route of survival. Food shelter, reproduction. All concepts that are material in nature. and incapable of returning you back to love. What you really need is something that will allow you to have a bit of fun. Something that will have you singing the high notes. Because that is the healing mechanism that God installed in us. Our sexuality. Our ability to have fun, Our ability to be artistic. These behaviours promote our highest vibration, and the means by which we express out divinity in a 3 dimensional state.

If we are open to being aroused, things like guilt and depression cease to exist. Because depression is what happens when you have been in a state of sadness, out of love for so long that you can no longer bear the hurt of it. and your unconscious decides to give a holiday from your hurt. By shutting down your emotions. That is all depression is. A rest. Unfortunately, in shutting down this emptional energy you also lose the desire to do anything, or live. Because it is through our feelings that we recognize that we are alive.

Likewise guilt becomes redundant. Guilt is our moral compass. The check on anger to make sure that what we are using it for is appropriate. If you feel arousal then there is no need for guilt because you will only experience anger when you are in fear.. there would be no need for it at any other time. Because for all other situations, arousal is the answer.

This also explains the hard stance the system has on drugs. Drugs are a tool that when used appropriately enhance fun and the sexual experience. Clearly not a good thing if you want to control the masses. By having labelled drugs as a menace to society they have introduce another element of fear and guilt into the arousal equation. Which vibrationaly, is what creates all the madness you see.

 There is some god news in all this. The Divine Sacred Feminine, the essence of Mother, is back with a compassionate vengeance. Her Divine presence is restoring the balance of humanities natural emotional state. Because Mother is compassionate. Mother wants to make everything better. Mother knows how to inspire her children to greatness. And she hasn't returned a moment to soon.
