There is a very strong association of high fructose corn syrup with diabetes since this stuff causes overuse of the pancreas supplying insulin, and this is especially true with regular consumers of junk food (and high fructose corn syrup is why junk food tastes so good, but this stuff is potentially dangerous and may not even be real food).

Then I suppose you will say goodbye to apples, bananas, melons, oranges and basically all other truits on the market. ;)
Fruits and vegetables contain complex carbohydrates, which allow the pancreas to release insulin in a non-rapid and constructive way. Fructose corn syrup (and refined white sugar that lacks the zinc component found in raw sugar) are not complex carbohydrates and force immediate release of insulin, and scientists not on the corporate payroll claim it's probably this "on and off" rapid jolting of insulin release (with the presence of non-simple carbohydrates ) that may cause dysfunctional pancreas insulin release that may be related to the rapid rise in type 2 diabetes mellitus over the past thirty years.
But Void weren't talking about corn syrup. He was talking about fructose in general.
And, fructose is the natural sugar that resides in all fruits. The only sugar we humans can properly utilize in a balanced manner.
Without that, he'd not even survive to be 30... He'd end up with a heart attack looong before that.
............maybe void meant junk food with fake fructose, refined sugar , bleached .................why would anyone say no to natural sugar, natural carbohidrate, fructose..........................no need to quit on fruit. ..................
