I feel that the "Powers that be" are reluctant to release this news to the public because it will create a sense of fear in the public to know that such beings are actually in existence and they have secretly been in contact with them for many years. This "Disclosure"' if you will, will also lead the masses to realize that they were not as protected, by the govt, as they thought they were.

India is a country divided by Religion, caste, rich...poor and suffering of children and in cases women treated badly.
India needs to balance things out and unite and help the poor so everyone lives in reasonably good standard.
India rich Vedic culture describes the Universe and clearly states that there are beings on other Planets so Extraterrestrials should not be such a big news to them.
The word disclosure has become a big joke as most people know, have seen or read about UFO's...most people are now aware of the presence of extraterrestrials so it is not a big deal if they announce it or not.
