Hello fellow ACC community,
There is one thing that I noticed.. There is great increases in posting of video without any words or explanation of video and it is giving me and other deaf viewer much more difficult time! Without subtitles, I am not EVEN ABLE to understand ANY of videos that is posted here. It is unfair for me and other deaf people who want to understand what is being shared with this community.
I feel I must share my frustration here. So I am requesting to any of you who posts video, please include either transcript OR summary (if video is too long to create transcript) so that way many deaf viewer, including me can understand video. Have heart for us and I appreciate it.

I am bumping this because I noticed more people, especially Two features have posted video without any supports for deaf people including me. Like this one:

And I was like "how the hell can I do to understand this video when there is no caption or subtitles for deaf viewers. This is getting out of hands, really.. I noticed more people posting videos and audio without caring about deaf people and this is getting very upsetting for me. However, I am not giving up on getting people to get together and start summarizing or create transcripts for videos that is posted here. I will keep bumping this thread until people read this. I am doing it for deaf people and me, so we can understand any videos and audio that is posted here so we can be part of this community much more!
I fully support this!
Esp with voice recognition software being so widely available.
You may have not used voice recognition before,it is not fully accurate nor reiable yet. I've used it and it often came out with wrong words which confused me often. It still have long way to properly recognize accents and other sounds associated with speaking itself. That is why it is much more reiable and useful to just write trasncript or summary of each videos posted in this forum for now. Try one of youtube video (try spirit science videos) with voice recognizer and you will see what I mean.
Yeah, it's like Google translate, it does around 60% of the job, the whole thing should definitely be proof read by a human. ;)
Oh yeah and Youtube voice reco is dismal, I use it to crack myself up :P
