"If we Receive some Visitors from other Galaxies... Same Human Being! "
Published on May 13, 2013
Jenni writes: "I attended the talk given by HH Dalai Lama in Portland, Oregon and was delighted that he mentioned the Galactics. Yes, he really did. It was in the context of remembering at our core that we are all One, that we each share a spark of the divine within us, and how feeling "different from" each other creates fear/distance.
He used visitors from beyond Earth as an example of how we might fear beings perceived as "different" from us. He mentioned he would greet them as "same", that he would shake their hand (if they had hands).
While he didn't say that the Galactics are here, he did make a point to leave the clear impression that they are our brothers and sisters.
That when we cultivate our compassion and commit to remembering that each of us are related through our divine spark, we will eliminate fear. Eliminating fear means eliminating the use of aggression, bullying, exploitation, and desire to harm others (others meaning all beings).
While it may not be the grand disclosure that so many of us would like to see, it was an amazing experience to hear such a beautiful soul openly include cultivating compassion for visitors beyond Earth in his talk.
This is the kind of seed that HH Dalai Lama can plant easily given his large platform to hasten the change in Earth human attitudes regarding the Galactics.
If we Receive some Visitors from other Galaxies... Same Human Being!
I am honored to have witnessed this talk and to have recognized the seed-planting as it happened."

Hi! I recognise the Dalai Lama's words more as a disclosure than a example even though he didn't provide any concrete evidence still.I'am not in a state of shock or fear over his words and I accept his words unconditionally as well as without any need for a rational explanation from him or myself,"Namaste!"
Top 10 Inspirational Dalai Lama Quotes
written by Myrko Thum in Inspiration
This is actually a post I started back in late 2008 but somehow never finished. I posted a lot of commented quotes on this site so far, and it’s funny how those get a lot of interested readers both from search engines and social media …
The reason for me posting them is that many quotes are a kind of essence of what these intelligent and wise people learned throughout their lives. That’s why I also think it’s very worthwhile to think about them ourselves. I studied "The Art of Happiness" by the Dalai Lama already here, and here are the best 10 Dalai Lama quotes …
1. "In our struggle for freedom, truth is the only weapon we possess."
That’s a very powerful quote. Only by being true to yourself you can make progress to being free. Truth is the ultimate fire that burns down everything that is false and opens the way toward happy states.
2. "My religion is very simple. My religion is kindness."
On the one hand that shows that religion at it’s core can be very simple. It is important that this kindness is very powerful and is not coming from a weak state. Instead it’s a natural expression coming from a well developed mind. And it is the basis for being successful together.
3. "Our prime purpose in this life is to help others. And if you can’t help them, at least don’t hurt them."
Helping others provides ultimate happiness.
4. "Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them, humanity cannot survive."
That points to the reality that without love and compassion, humans can’t feel connected and can’t recognize themselves in another. Therefore selfish behavior against "the other" could potentially destroy even this planet. Feeling this connection on the other hand makes it easy to live successful together.
5. "With realization of one’s own potential and self-confidence in one’s ability, one can build a better world."
Only if you have truly worked on yourself and got the best out of yourself, you will not only be much more happier and realize your human potential, this will also give you a strong self-confidence. Using this will naturally have a positive impact on others and can build a better world.
6. "Happiness is not something ready made. It comes from your own actions."
You won’t get happy by laziness. But it can flow naturally from right actions. For those you have to learn and act, and then learn from that experience again. In other words: do personal development.
7. "When you think everything is someone else’s fault, you will suffer a lot. When you realize that everything springs only from yourself, you will learn both peace and joy."
Pointing out the mistakes of others, making them responsible for your current "bad situation" is the easy way out. But not really of course. Since that moves you into the powerless corner, where you basically have no control over your life anymore. Taking complete responsibility for yourself and your own environment gives you the ability to influence your life the way you want it. While it can be hard at first, this is a true move to power and the necessary first step in your personal growth.
8. "If you don’t love yourself, you cannot love others. You will not be able to love others. If you have no compassion for yourself then you are not able of developing compassion for others."
True change comes from inside of yourself. In order to love someone on the outside you first have to love yourself. You basically can’t give what you don’t have. So cultivate love and compassion for yourself.
9. "Through violence, you may ‘solve’ one problem, but you sow the seeds for another."
10. "Where ignorance is our master, there is no possibility of real peace."
Both quotes are based in ignorance, that means in having a selfish and narrow perspective on things. It’s not thinking Win-Win, but thinking Win or Win-Lose. Which ultimately leads to a Lose Situation.
The Dalai Lama: "I believe all suffering is caused by ignorance. People inflict pain on others in the selfish pursuit of their happiness or satisfaction. Yet true happiness comes from a sense of peace and contentment, which in turn must be achieved through the cultivation of altruism, of love and compassion, and elimination of ignorance, selfishness, and greed."
Only by broadening our perspective, including seeing the world through the eyes of the other, and by educating and improving ourselves we can remove ignorance.
