LOL.. You have a point Assiya. I believe that humans are indeed a gullible bunch and can turn ANY belief system into a religion. For some the GLF beliefs are treated like a religion or a cult, and there are an endless list of beliefs that are religionized, and I guess that is the point of this post maybe? To point out that any religion is only in the minds and imaginations of mankind. Not sure if having nothing to believe in is very good for a person either. I know there is not much I truly resonate and believe in of a "religious" nature, I guess I just believe in love, without all the doctrine and hoopdela. But sometimes I wish I had a stronger belief in something grander than myself, but I don't. I actually envy people who have empassioned beliefs, it seems to make them feel good. I have so many things I do NOT believe in but not much I do, and sometimes it is sad. I believe I am in a life and have to live it and being loving and that is about it...No grand visions (or illusions) just living one moment at a time and day to day.
Oh and I liked L Ron's sci fi stories too...always loved sci fi. I loved my first sci fi book I read. It was called Far Scape, and later it was turned into a sci fi series....now that was awesome!!!!!
