Its about time!
"Little did Willie Nelson know when he recorded “Crazy” years ago just how crazy it would become for our cherished family farmers in America. Nelson, President of Farm Aid, has recently called for the national Occupy movement to declare an “Occupy the Food System” action.
Nelson states, “Corporate control of our food system has led to the loss of millions of family farmers, destruction of our soil…”
Hundreds of citizens, (even including NYC chefs in their white chef hats) joined Occupy the Food System groups, ie Food Democracy Now, gathered outside the Federal Courts in Manhattan on January 31st, to support organic family farmers in their landmark lawsuit against Big Agribusiness giant Monsanto. (Organic Seed Growers & Trade Association v. Monsanto) Oral arguments were heard that day concerning the lawsuit by 83 plaintiffs representing over 300,000 organic farmers, organic seed growers, and organic seed businesses."

kudos for the farmers on this case but something else comes to mind here :..............It is still consumers that support this crap by ignorantly buying non organic produce on the market while Monsanto gets away with crime . Same ignorant public still uses excuses( like it is too expensive ) while shopping and I think that we can change this over night if we actually shopped with counscious mind for non junk foods ; but how do we change ignorant society ~?~( with a sledgehammer hitting their idiocratic minds )...........................
Wait the minute, I have an idea ; how about growing our own food , living, fresh, home grown energy of organics. Now, that's a radical idea; don't you agree ~?~
Our entire society is shifting towards being healthier and more conscious of what we are putting into our bodies! Monsanto can see that too....
I am glad to see that this is happening, I'll definitely check out the article ~ thanks Ravinder :)
It's all gotta end sometime!!!
Bout time people stood up to Monsanto! Yeaaaaaaa! Silence does not facilitate change. Monsanto cares not for people, only profit at any cost. Time for them to be stopped!
I´m beginning to feel that this is a made - up story designed to scare people into not suing Monsanto by making them feel they´re not being scared but are instead being audience listening to the people claiming that there are 300,000 farmers suing Monsanto.....no offense. Peace.
