There are many theories out there, and I am aware of that. This is one of those theories.
One thing that is often misunderstood--
Having two eyes does not grant us 3-d vision. True 3-d vision would essentially be like having an infinite amount of eyes on the inner side of a sphere surrounding an object. So in other words, real 3-d would be seeing from every perspective at once, much like how we could over a 2-d space.
Ideas come from flatlands, mostly. And then there's a heap of internet sources.
