A postman collected pebbles every day for 33 years and what he created is amazing...

the creativity and the dedication to this project blows me away........this palace was created by a uneducated rural postman in France back in the mid 1800s.....it is a shrine to the wonderment of nature.......with a combination of hindu style and gothic architecture ...adorned with sculpted animals ...intricate pillars and columns as well as a stunning terrace.. ..built painstakingly out of pebbles he collected and mortar he created himself......trully a beautiful and remarkable accomplishment.....
Deep in the heart of rural France, there stands an incredible building. The Palace Idéal du Facteur Cheval stands 45 feet (14 meters) high and 85 feet (26 meters) long and is an elaborate piece of sculpture, adorned with carved animals and floral decorations.
