Greetings brothers and sisters,
I was pondering earlier--which I do frequently--what sort of activities are thought to lower you vibrations? I am aware of the big ones like anger, fear, ego and such but what of other more mundane activities like drinking beer or listening to rock and roll. Please feel free to share all your thoughts or comments on this as I am sure I am not the only newbie with this question. Thank you all for your everything I do love this site and awesome people I have met.

Anything that makes you feel crap lowers your vibe.
Avoid the things that make you feel crap or ignore it lol
Drinking Beer or listening to rock on roll and how it impacts you whether its negative or positive really depends on your beliefs about it.
I give you an example. Its from real life.
there was this old lady, who I met when i was staying out in America.
She was healthy as a kyte and full of life.
She told me she was 101 years old.She had her full mental capacity. Her great granddaughter confirmed her age.
I asked her , whats the secret to health?
she replied, "smoke everyday".(!)
Clearly , i am not saying here smoking is good for you.
But what this case shows is that,
What determines what is good or bad for you is your beliefs and feeling about and connected to the "subject" at hand.
In this case this woman believed and felt smoking was good for her... so she felt good, raised her vibe, attracted healthy vibrations and now she is now in her 102nd year, lol
To raise vibrations i say... follow your joy!
whatever it is that makes you feel comfy and warm inside... do it :)
these are all the things I use to lift my vibration:
If you can do a few of these things everyday you will feel good and raise your vibe .... and the more light you radiate.

Hello, Nathan, perhaps it isn't what you are around that lowers your vibrations but what you do to raise them :) The higher your consciousness grows the more light it can hold and it lowers the influence of lower vibes to affect you.
I suggest studying meditation techniques until you find one that works for you. Tom Kenyon has a great site about sound studies, you may experience some odd feelings while listening to his music but thats normal, just follow his instructions. It's a good process in the beginning to meditate along with a disc or perhaps in nature. Crystals, too, are wonderful allies to awaken and nurture the body.
Could you post his website? I would to listen to his music I am still searching for my inner voice and any help is welcome

For myself it would be spending all day with people and not tending to my energetic self care.....I also think that not setting boundries and not removing energetic cords from others, or engaging in self care can lower vibrations.....
