The peripatetic school comes from something Aristotle loved to do - he tought while walking. Peripatetics are those who walk while thinking.
I have started this simple thing a year ago, and I can say that this is healing. I can sleep like a stone. And while walking I lose much heavy stuff of my mind.
I have no tv anymore and have stopped reading news papers. I do that not in order to have a hard life but in order to lighten my mind. And when I feel it is too much of a thing, I stop it. Then I turn off my computer, throw that book in the corner and go out walking. I do it every day at least 7 miles, just relaxed walking.
Once in a while I even take a nap of 30 minutes twice a day. It is no regulation, but as I feel that I need it. 30 minutes of a nap is like a little miracle.
I just wanted to mention a little thing being hidden in the word peripatetics.
Just walking and sleeping a lot, especially in those crazy times...
