Guru Nanak Dev ji
Guru Nanak the founder of the Sikh Religion started in the Sikh Temples the common kitchen where devotees made vegetarian food and served to all those who came to the Sikh Temple and this was started about 500 years ago and is still going strong. In UK alone there are over 200 Sikh Temples and most serve food daily from early morning to late evening. The whole point is to bring oneness in people uniting them so they all eat together regardless of caste, color, creed, religion or rich or poor. All over the World there are so many Sikh Temples that serve meals daily. In the Golden Temple thousands eat daily. What better way of uniting humanity. Never is anyone asked for donations yet they are never short of money as people contribute willingly.
Srila Prabhupada of founder of the Krishna Movement went to a Sikh Temple once and saw all the people there eating happily together and since then he started the Sunday Feast in all Krishna Temples.
If all the Christians get together and follow the Sikh Way by introducing free meals in churches all over the World it would strengthen the Christians ...you will find people will contribute towards the meals for they will surely like the idea of eating together and besides if the food is loving cooked it would benefit all. Forget eating in restaurants as the energy and vibes in the food is all business.
In this times of recession all over the World uniting and eating together will bring oneness.

Sikh people are one of the nicest people in my experience <3
They believe in Universal Brotherhood, being humble, being compassionate and doing voluntary service for humanity thus they follow the true teachings of GURU NANAK
