Angels and demons

Angels and demons1/1/10There's a tendency now to discredit all the old mythologies as superstitious nonsense, which I do agree as mostly being true, but much of that old religious stuff is based upon some actual facts. When a new religion comes to power, which has happened over and over and over again there's always a rewriting of the old texts to fit into the new religion, despite them usually pretending their “truth” has been passed down, unaltered, from the very beginning. So something that originally was based upon something real, gets translated and twisted into something that mostly just serves to secure religious power. I'm not one to encourage people to look for truth within the past (why would you, when it's occurring Presently?) but I'd like to discuss certain themes that have repeated themselves throughout to old religious texts and have some reference to what is happening now.First, let's talk about Angels. Usually described as Higher-dimensional Beings of Light that come down from the Heavens or appear to people in visions. Compare this to the Star Beings people often report seeing nowadays. Essentially the same description, it's just that now people have different understandings and see them within a different context. Ancient Hindu spiritual texts even state that there's countless other planets and beings from these planets often visit Earth. People have reported contact with Sirius for hundreds of years. Is it hard to believe that many, if not all, of the Angels people have seen throughout history are the same Beings people now understand as Extra-terrestrials?Now, on to demons. Often seen as scaly, horned, and violent humanoid creatures. There's something in the collective unconsciousness that really doesn't like reptiles, a snake was supposedly responsible for humanity's original downfall, and dragons are an archetypal enemy throughout history. The supposed ultimate enemy of mankind, Satan, is often described as a dragon or reptile-like. Now look at what the modern channelings have said about the reptilians, an extra-terrestrial race who have tried to manipulate and control humanity for thousands of years. The old drawings of demons are often identical to the current descriptions of reptilians.How about the short, grayish or greenish, big-headed, big-eyed creatures that like to steal children and cause mischief? Am I talking about the modern Greys or what people have called goblins for thousands of years? The description is still the same. So many of these themes are far from new, despite them being called “New Age”. Strange things flying in the sky, even ones that shot things back and forth at each other, were seen thousands of years ago. They were just so outside of the box at the time that people didn't have any reference points, so superstitions built up around the actual truth.       I think the whole idea of a war between angels and demons, the light vs the dark, is complete nonsense. It's based upon something real, but twisted into dualistic thought. There's nothing "wrong" with the reptilian ideology, but it's certainly not suited to govern Humanity anymore. It's not "evil" or "bad", but simply foolish.

      Our DNA certainly contains the reptilian brain, (among many other things from many other races) so it's easy to fall into that mindset, but we're so much more than that.
