I watched over 300 20 minute episodes -1 a day-of the creepy Dark Shadows episodes about 5 years ago until netflix lost it -I couldn't find them , and didn't want to buy the cds, but recently I found all 424 episodes on YouTube-I was stunned!!! Stunned because the storyline is completely different!!! All the actors are the same and so are the sets-except the exterior of the Big house.
Stay with me a moment-each episode opens with the episode number and date-season 1 1966, season 2 1967-same as 5 years ago but now Victoria Winters is obsessed at finding out why she was hired and was raised in an orphanage!!! The boy she tutors is extremely disturbed but in the alternate he was lonely for his mother and a nice kid!!! Burke Devlin was in prison for 10 years!!! Joe Haskell is dating Carolyn instead of Maggie!!! And I'm only on episode 23-
