  Lori, correct in observation some humans are actually NOT entirely "human" and suck the very life energy out of people causing them to die or stress early.

  from my understanding Yes!!..the word Demon..is a form of the word DAIMON..at which one time just ment spirit

  religion has transformed it into a negative only word but that was not its original meaning.

  AND when it comes to this "dark entity" ..remember light cast out darkness. No amount of darkness in a room can obscure the smallest of candle light.

  ALSO, your astral body emits light and if you know yourself not to be of a dark nature then maybe it is there watching..your light is shining on it and it is no longer able to hide. Yes you may feel its negative energy..but that is no different from feeling negative energy on any person in your waking life..

    In my honest view, darkness can imitate light

    and darkness does try to get close to people in the third dimension...(regardless whether they are light or not,)

    remember in the christian texts Jesus was approached by the so called (Devil)

    ---and even Jesus was a highly vibrating light and even he got approached by demons but he caste them away.----

    they in the astral/demonic world tend to focus on:

    a) those people with natural abilities, natural skills of contact who remain unprotected/innocent

    b) cause harm/ annoyance/disturbance

    c) both the above

    The lower realms are being cleared layer by layer by angelical teams as in accordance with the divine plan, but this is a lengthy process since certain members of mankind is mostly still residing in the lower vibratory scale battling ego / fear issues. (Non Judgement here)

    However angelical love & protection is available to everyone so ask for it and it will be given ;)

  Demons can be defined as a being consisting of a  multitude of *aspects* . 

  For example

  they can be shadow aspects of oneself manifest,

  they can be astral entities,

  a being attached to unclean land,property

  a sucking vampire,

  a nasty vengeful ghost, 

  shadow people

  an ego issue which later manifest as poltergeist activity.... etc...(long list)

  Remember demons can pretend to be nice too; so unless someone has a very open pineal gland it cannot be easily detected so call in protections in your daily activity to cleanse aura and space. Remember if something is good it ALWAYS respects YOU.

  They are confused parts of source from what I heard someone say. I am not sure what Demons are exactly but from what I do know they feed on fear and other low vibrational things. Sounds like you where not scared which is good. Maybe a deseased person who is a negative spirit.....Can you ask it to leave or send it to the light?

    If certain things did not eat waste products, then the waste products would just build up.  

    Anyways, if you want the rats to go away then stop leaving food accessible.
