This is the scoop. Mercury Retrograde began April 28 - 29 (April 29th if you use the Astrolabe World Ephemeris) and Heidi Cruz made a communications blunder last Saturday, sometime in the afternoon in the state of Indiana.
THIS IS A CLASSIC MERCURY RETROGRADE COMMUNICATION ISSUE / BLUNDER THAT CAN BITE YOU.

Below is the chart of the event:
The transiting 2016 Moon in Aquarius (highlighted in yellow) can represent "people with computers," "people with televisions," or "people involved in science." Note that the Moon is forming a very hard square (90 degree angle, "conflict") with Ted Cruz's 2nd house Venus placement ("the spouse," "the close friend," "the association or group with a creative and possible financial purpose"). This can define "a conflict with media people concerning the wife or close friends," as well as " a conflict involving a group of similar people or an organization close to Ted Cruz."
The Yod ("finger of God") formation is drawn in red, and it features transiting 2016 Venus with Cruz's natal Neptune Sextile Pluto formation. It is very strong and close to being exact. Note that both Quincux angles represent "slight tension."
If Venus represents "the spouse" or "close friend" and Neptune Sextile Pluto represents "opportunity for working with unseen changes" or "working with transformation issues not seen externally," this may define "slight tension (x2) involving the spouse or close friend that concerns changes that are not seen and need to be worked with."
Finally, note the very strong 120 degree Trine (drawn in blue, "harmony," "absence of conflict") between transiting 2016 Jupiter ("good luck,' "expansion," "financially fortunate," "education") forming an almost perfect Trine to Cruz's natal Mercury in the 4th house. This Jupiter transit offers some protection from the "communications and the media" (which is often represented by Mercury) but it doesn't mean you will win the war. This is especially true since Jupiter never forms an exact Trine; it comes within 15 minutes of being exact.
Similar to Hillary Clinton in a way, it is possible that Ted Cruz may "win the battle" due to a positive 2016 Trine taking place. It does not mean that he will "win the war."

MICHAEL: LOL, you are sounding like Al Jorgenson, and his reference of the abbreviations of the movie A.I. (Artificial Intelligence) of which could also have also stood for "Anal Intruder" (and Alex Jones told him in his last interview to not bring that up that "A.I. interpretation" since his show was a "family show" (yeah, right)).
