The audio of me reading this week’s “weekly news” column for the Aquarius Paradigm Weekly Newsletter, entitled “False Fracking Safety Claims and MSM Protests” can be found here.
I’ll post a snippet from this week’s column with a link to the original post for those who want to read along.
“To begin for this week – The UK water industry is due to release a report by the end of this year that proclaims fracking to be a safe process that doesn’t contaminate the water supply. (1)
As regulations surrounding fracking have been ‘taken care of’ in the UK, the study that’s due to be released will apparently claim that it’s relatively harmless and has few risks, which can be mitigated. Opponents of fracking obviously disagree, citing what’s already known about it as cause enough to stop it from happening in the UK.
I’ll post a snippet from BBC News that explains this further.
‘A study by the UK water industry has concluded that ‘fracking’ to extract shale gas is safe, the government says.
Opponents say water used in the process could be contaminated and could enter domestic supplies.
Water UK is due to release a report by the end of the year but told the BBC it believes any risks can be mitigated.
Meanwhile, energy minister Michael Fallon has said shale gas exploration could soon take place in Wiltshire, Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex and Kent.
Mr Fallon told the Daily Telegraph that, while exploration has so far been focused on the North of England, areas ‘right across the South’ and the Midlands could also be investigated.’ (1)”
