To much balance may take your power and the joy of life away.
Think of an condensator. As long as there is an imbalance of charge it can perform electric work.
But as soon as the electric charges cancel each other it is almost entirely powerless.
The same may be true for to much emotional balance.
Imagine someone 100% in balance. He/her was not able to experience sadness nor joy.
Nor pain nor comfort.
To me this sounds very boring.
Do you know that movie called EQUILIBRIUM?
Within this movie all people are forced by 'law' to take a drug that disables their ability to feel emotions.
No joy. No sadness. No ups. No downs. No love. No hate.
This is not a life that I would prefer to live.
The oscillation of both polarities seems to provide a much more rich life experience to me.
That's it. That is the only form of balance that makes real sense to me:
There is already absolute balance - it is even inevitable.
But it is 'hidden'.
It is hidden in the fourth dimension.
It is over the infinite time statistically perfectly balanced while allowing for temporal extremes.
This means we actually do not have to try to balance anything. Over time absolutely everything re-balances it self automatically.
However this means at the same time that as longer any imbalance is growing the harder and longer is the rebound.
Imagine a sinus wave. Do you see what I mean?
What a great new perspective!

In which direction it was preferable to move would depends on from where somebody was coming from.
