The stock markets gave their own vote on Tuesday's election, dropping the Dow Jones industrial average nearly 300 points in morning trading Wednesday. A number of Pittsburgh companies fell as well.
The Dow Jones was down 2.2 percent or 293.36 points to 12,952.32 by 11:15 a.m. The S&P 500 and Nasdaq were each down 2.3 percent.
