I have no doubt that alternate timelines of this earth exist, as i have experienced one first hand.
Whether this story is true, i cannot say.
Someone may have shifted me into an alternate dimension as well or some aspect of me accomplished it, though they never gave me any details or let me know it was done to me, i just figured it out on my own what had happened was not a usual occurrence.
And same with this story, i feel it was to protect me from harm that would have occurred, had the dimensional shift not happened.
