been telling new found vegans , for yrs, that those "natural flavorings" on the products labels, are animal byproducts
However, you do know that most vegans eat food that have been fertilized with extract of human feces right?
I'm not saying it's wrong. In chemistry it's well known that one mans trash is another mans treasure and one mans poison is another mans delicacy. I once visited a facility where cooking salt were being produced. DEAR GOD was all I could say, or rather scream when I saw the base products of what is that we all like so much to put on our food. ;)
Perhaps extract from something that comes from a beavers behind may not sound so nice when viewed from that perspective, but is it really so different from the fact that we all eat food that have been seasoned with a substance which base elements are also the main components in chemical weapons of mass destruction and also the second most effective mind-control substance in existence (it makes the brain numb)?
Albeit, we can't live without that particular substance either since our bodies use it to control a great number of very nescessary functions but still, it makes one wonder. Especially since many people eat far more of it than they need to :)
I think the point is about improper labeling by not being specific. But that would lead to much bigger packaging to hold the list of all the ingredients.
It's in food and perfumes
We need to find out in which food this is used although classed as natural flavouring
