I use discernment all the time, especially when it comes to spirituality and so-called conspiracies. And guess what? I get attacked for doing so. It's all rather curious. When I question the gov't, I'm attacked and called a socialist commie and unpatriotic. When I question spiritual beliefs, people bitch at me for doing so. When I question people who believe in conspiracies, I'm attacked again and it's assumed that I'm part of the brainwashed sheeple. But if I don't question those who believe in conspiracies, then I'm ok. So I'm ok if I'm a brainwashed, conspiracy believing sheeple. Looks like I'm to choose what type of sheeple I'm supposed to be. Lol!
It's rather ironic. The conspiracy folks and others always say that we have to ask the "hard" questions. They occasionally use trite slogans like "Question Authority" in that need to prove how much of a rebel they are, or whatever the hell reason it's done. Yet they go off and believe damn near any joe blow on the street who uses all the right key words in their conspiracy rant. Besides that, I get it, my questions are a threat to their world view. I guess that's the case.
Some people need to believe in conspiracies for whatever reason. Some do it so they can have something to fight against. I guess they do that so they can have a sense of purpose. Perhaps they see my "hard" questions as a threat to their sense of purpose. I don't know, but what I do know is that if you're not willing to question your views, whatever they may be, you're not any better than those you accuse of being sheeple.

God is unquestionable but all subservient to him can be questioned.
Thus when you come from a point of unquestionableness you are with God-nature and no human or spiritual entity can touch you. When in doubt, ask to speak to the supervisor.
Do not forget your own nature however because if your own nature stands in contradiction to God-nature you will be questionable too.
The key is to let go I suppose.
One thing I learned from my father. The things that rile people up is either religion or politics.
My take is not to argue or impress my beliefs but I listen and insert a 'what' if question.
A direct way of providing information is always met with some negative responses.
One must see their coin before selling something as that is the yardstick. Namaste!
