Migrating birds have puzzled scientists for so long. Birds called European robins can migrate all the way from Europe to equatorial parts of Africa. But one thing we know is that birds donnot have such things as magnetic compasses. If you did that, consistently cross an ocean and consistently land at a correct place without a compass, you will be declared a psychic! So like I have been saying, psychic abilities are neither necesarily antagonistic to science nor even to reason. It requires just a slight trick. Such a trick can be quantum entanglement.Experiments were done to test if birds can sense magnetism. Scientists even got more puzzled by what they discover. Birds can't tell magnetic north pole from south pole. But they can tell a very minute distortion of the direction of magnetic field. What is amazing is that such distortions are extreemly tiny. Farthermore, they use their eyes for that! They can literaly see magnetic field!Scientists have suggested quantum entanglement to explain that. It is thought when light fall to the eye some chemicals in the eye of a bird can create quantum entangled electrons which goes to slightly different location to measure the magnetic field strength. The bird use it to creat an image of the magnetic field. Such a mind bending technology as quantum computing have been eluding scientistsTo put it in some other language, we can just say that the bird is simply clairvoyant! Such a way of sensing magnetic field is clearly a sixth sense. If we have some degree of this technology, then some images we see when we close eyes are not entirely due to the formation of our own brains. Rather, the brain is sensing the whole pervading field it is imerced in!Another thing that scientists haven't wondered is that if a bird can detect such tiny magnetic fluctuations, then might they be able to detect electromagnetic waves! That would be funny, a bird can watch some TV program without a TV set! Then if the bird's eye can be thus affected by the magnetic field, it can also affect the field due to action and reaction. So they may use it to communicate. This explains telepathy! Even if it is not there now, we see that it can easily evolve in future. Infact, one can say the work to perfection of this sixth sense is in progress.

  • Wow! Those are amazing, Feather, I never knew of such distances as over 3000km. The one I have witnesses is 30km for dog and 4km for a cat. But I still got amazed. The one for over 3000km can only be explained by psychic phenomenon and/or quantum nonlocality.
  • Here are some stories about animals finding their way home...

In 2004, a Russian family was happily reunited with their cat Kuzya after it traveled 1,300 miles (2092 km) across Siberia to come home. The cat ran away from the family when they were vacationing in eastern Russia for the summer. Though they searched for weeks, the family eventually returned home, only to find him on their front step three months later.

The farthest distance that a lost pet dog has found his way home occurred in 1979 when Jimpa, a labrador/boxer cross, turned up at his old home in Pimpinio, Victoria, Australia after walking 3,218 km (2,000 miles) across Australia. His owner, Warren Dumesney (Australia), had taken the dog with him 14 months earlier when he went to work on a farm at Nyabing, Western Australia. During his trek the dog negotiated the almost waterless Nullarbor Plain.

There was also an interesting story about a man who went into hospital care.  His cat traveled across the town and found him there , at a place where the cat had never been before....

There are lots of stories like this, these are the ones that were the most spectacular..

  • That story of dogs finding their way is true! If you migrate to a distant location, even 30 km and left the dog behind, it can come all the way to your suprise!
  • I also have an amazing story. I know of a cat that was taken inside a box to a distance of over 4 km inside a car. It was taken to a town. It was able to find its way back. It could not smell its way because it was inside a car. Even if it smells, such a sense of smell is amazing. Given that scientists now suspect that quantum mechanics is involved in smells, I guess the cat could tap into the quantum field using the smell!
    • I´ve read stories of dogs being lost hundreds of miles from their home....like when the people went on holiday.  The dogs found their way back home.  Not sure how they do this,,,it wasn´t smell for the dogs were traveling in the car.  Animals have good intuition...

Another bird story.  We get lots of migrating birds that pass by here.  I´ve noticed  that a couple of scout birdies come first to check for food.  It seems to me that when they find food they telepathically send the info to the rest of the flock who arrive a few days later.

  • I find some good reasons to trust your testimony, Feather.:) But one reason scientists still tend to identify such amazing things to chances is that they still don't understand how such things can happen. In science, we use a technique called Occum's razor when faced with two possible explanations. Amongst other things, the one that is easily understood is priferred even if more far fetched.

However, quantum biology is only beginning to gain momentum. Some discoveries on how biological systems use quantum mechanics amazed biologist who thought that qm was irrelevant in the scale of life. It has now been found that catalysis, photosynthesis and possibly smelling involves quantum mechanics. In photosynthesis, for instance, plants quantum teleport food from places to places!

Such discoveries is of great significance as they show how quantum mechanics is relevant in classic world. It makes it plausible that quantum mechanics is involved even in the brain. This will explain alot about what we may say to be paranormal.

To explain telepathy, we just need to think that the brain is sensitive enough to detect undulations in quantum field that remains coherent. When it do so, quantum mind is a possibility. We understand that quantum decoherence does not realy destroy coherence completely. It reduces the amplitude of a coherent wave to the size that we think is beyond our ability to detect. Telepathy will be possible when two brains are simply quantum entangled. With such understanding, scientists in future may eventually accept physcic abilities!
  • The nature is really amazing...and far more hi tech than we realize.  I´m really amazed at the telepathy that the ravens have.   There is a family of ravens that live in the forest  nearby.   When I have some food for them they always know.  They will all come and sit in the tree in front of my house and make lots of noise.  This happens even if the food is in my fridge and I have forgotten about it.. It seems to me that they have telepathy with my fridge as well.

Another thing happened a couple of weeks ago.  I went out one day and saw that there was about 50 big grub worms coming towards my garden from across a small road in front of the house.  No idea where these grub worms came from, but I didn´t want them in my garden for they eat the roots of the plants.  So, I looked up at the sky and thought ´´help...I need birds.´´ Then I went inside and when I looked out again about 10 min later I saw that there were crows, doves, blackbirds there taking care of these worms for me.   When I went out about an hour later all the grub worms were gone...
