Large comet to ram into Mars in 2014.
Astronomers predict a large-scale disaster on the Red Planet in October 2014, when a comet may ram into Mars, creating a 500-kilometer crater, the website of the Russian observatory ISON-NM said.
According to scientists, a catastrophe of global scale may occur on Mars. The trajectory of comet C/2013 A1, which Australian astronomers discovered in early 2013, will supposedly intersect with Mars. If it happens, the impact will produce an explosion, the power of which will be equivalent to 20 billion megatons of TNT.
The forecast is based on current measurements and will be updated as new data arrive. It was said that the comet was moving in the direction opposite to the planets of the solar system. Therefore, the speed in the possible impact will be very high - about 56 kilometers per second. The core of the comet is 50 kilometers large. A crater with the diameter of 500 kilometers may thus be formed on the crash site.

A comet that size, if it hit anywhere on this planet would devastate probably all higher forms of life (except for some underground). Fortunately, these things are monitored by the angelics and our space friends. I do not expect it to hit Mars or the White House. But give power away to FEAR and enjoy your dramas. The actual story mentions that the comet or meteorite may hit Mars, not will hit Mars. You "end of the worlders" would apparently prefer to "go out in a catastrophe" rather than face up to your shadow side, transmute it and ascend into more sublime realms. Our ET friends can shift it's course/deflect it.

The super rich want to claim the mineral rights for the future-apparently you can make concrete out of Martian soil -all you need is water and that can be either harvested from ice there, taken from frozen comets, or it may be found in deep aquifers on Mars- people will live inside the planet until artificial gravity can be discovered for dome living on the surface-air can be brought from Earth on huge tanker ships built in Earth's atmosphere-there are already plans to build a 'rail gun' with electromagnetic tracks to hurl equipment into the atmosphere!
