Ask what is the meaning of Christmass, and they will tell you it is 'time for relatives, friends and family members to meet and celebrate'. In other words, it is a time to disobey Jesus as a celebration of his alleged 'birth day'!!!
Bible Quote:
Luke 14:12-14
12 Then Jesus said to his host,“When you give a luncheon or dinner, do not invite your friends, your brothers or sisters, your relatives, or your rich neighbors; if you do, they may invite you back and so you will be repaid.
13 But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind,
14 and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.”
That is what they do! They welcome the rich the talented, the privileged etc and then say 'you are one of us', but mistreat the needy, telling them 'you don't belong here'. Then come 25th December, they celebrate the 'birth day' of a guy who said that he will tell them 'away from me, you evil doer, I never knew you cause I was a stranger but you did not welcome me....' (Mathew 7:23)
This kind of behaviour is what Jesus termed it as 'you call me Lord Lord, but doesn't do what I say....'. (Luke 6:46)They think that taking flowers to Jesus, placing him on the pedestal, singing praises to him, and spraying him with all manner other 'perfumes' is what Jesus requires from them!
Woe unto them!!
