ive been working with my chakras and also with clients for many years now and i decided this morning to write my weekly column in the manly daily ( a regional newspaper in sydney australia)on the subject.
as usual i did some flicking around on web sites to get the mental juices running so to speak and found that there is a plethora of divergent takes on the subject...albeit with great convergences.
so ...as usual... i just wrote what i thought to say( in a very short space allotted apx 350 words) of course this barely touches the sides of this vast interesting and potentially complex subject...
i would be delighted to have us make conversation about your personal experience of chakras...how you expand you power and balance.. in order to more properly flesh this wonderful topic out.

CHAKRAS
There are 7 profound energy centres that run down the centre of your body known as Chakras.
Chakras are supra physical, yet with a certainty they affect your mental and physical health. It’s well known that acupuncture manipulates these energies to achieve a good result.
The root chakra is centred at the bottom of your bottom. It vibrates with the colour red and relates to feeling grounded and present. When it’s out you might feel a little lost in space.
The next one up is the Sacral Chakra that’s located around the base of your spine. This one vibrates to the colour orange and relates to your creativity. When it’s balanced you find that that the new is exciting, when it’s not you’ll feel stuck in the mud.
Above this there is the chakra in your belly. This one vibrates to the colour yellow and defines your experience of emotions. When it’s balanced you’ve a sense of emotional comfort, when it’s out you’ll feel nervous around others.
In your chest is the grand heart chakra connecting you to love. The heart chakra vibrates to the colour green and its balance is crucial to loving your life. If the heart chakra’s out of whack you’re going to feel horribly alone.
In your throat space is the chakra that vibrates to the colour blue. This opens your ability to communicate; to be able to listen well and speak authentically. When it’s not the opposite is true.
The next one exists deep in the centre of your brain. It’s the indigo coloured third eye and it is associated with your intuition or inner knowing. If your third eye is out your mental health will be compromised too.
The last of the major chakras is the crown chakra that vibrates to the colour purple and sits on the top of your head. This is the portal to your divine spirituality. It opens your mind to your godhead.
When your chakras are out of balance you will be too. I’m suggesting you meditate upon these causal energy points that are so formative in your very existence. You’d do well to learn more about their power and complexity.
