Pro driver Lewis Hamilton has suggested his new plant-based is the reason for a successful Formula One season.

The sportsman ditched animal products from his diet in September, after watching documentary What The Health - and has now revealed he feels the best he ever felt in his life.

The champion sportsman said: "I do feel the best I have ever felt in my life, in my 32 years - physically.

"I feel incredibly clean and healthy."

No going back

Hamilton, who grabbed his fourth world title this season, added: "When I speak to my friends and family they say, 'I could never be on a plant-based diet, I could never be vegan'.

"It’s weird, because once you cross that line and go over the hill I can’t imagine going back.

"There’s things I see my friends eating - and I used to eat it - but now I feel sick because I have read about it and have read some of the science."

The legendary F1 driver cited reasons such as 'animal cruelty, global warming, and our personal health' as reasons for going plant-based earlier this fall.

  • By reducing the weight of the car it can go faster and by reducing your KARMAS you get more light in your body and less burden meaning a lighter body and this is what happened to Sir Lewis Hamilton for when he become vegan he got more light in his body and become and felt lighter since he cut out the karma accumulated by eating meat. Now he can concentrate more when racing and so winning more races.

He is also setting a good example for others to follow

  • Well done Champion of the Champions Sir Lewis Hamilton.

I was at The Vegan Life Live Show at Alexandra Palace where I bought a magizine Plant Based Vegan Life and I was glad to read in it an article about you turning Vegan and your reasons are true and so more people should follow
