It seems to me that there are certain remarkable facts about ET's:
1) they haven't destroyed or conquered us - at least not overtly. Intuitively, this makes sense as a highly advanced technological civilization would lack the sort of neediness that afflicts humans. We struggle for food, shelter, security amidst a world of scarcity. With the universe as a resource, they don't - a simple point overlooked in SciFi movies.
I also think it unlikely that they need us as livestock (as in "How To Serve Man" in the Twilight Zone) , not only because of the above but also because, if they did, we would be more uniform in breed and better taken care of in FeedLot Earth! Any Texas rancher could do better!
What their motives are is difficult to guess. More on that later
2) They MUST have rank or a hierarchy of authority - if they didn't, any alien with a personality like Ted Turner would say "Today's The Day" and land on the White House lawn. Somebody is strictly in charge up there - and they Dictate When Diclosure Is Gonna Happen. The increase in UFO sightings and their growing boldness in the past 3 years or so manifests a coordinated effort as well.
3) Their interest in nuclear weapons is a very good sign - while we're guessing their motives, their persistent interest and INTERFERENCE WITH nuclear weapons is very encouraging. If they know that Earth and its life are doomed somehow, why bother shutting down missiles at all? Nor do I think that they interfere simply because it harms or punches a hole in their dimension (or whatever). If this was true, they should have stopped Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Bikini Atoll tests and the horrific 50 megaton test by the Soviets, years ago.
4) Since they began interfering after these weapons were tested or used, that means a decision must have been made to do so. - see point #2.
5) Their society must be dominated by unitary consciousness - amidst all of them or at least each ET race. - There's no choice in this. No highly advanced society could avoid self extermination if any of them decide to be aggreived 'jihadis' and blow things up. Such 'beehive' mentality would also be the basis of their morality and could explain why many contactees seem to be fed false information, perhaps for their own good. We're not on their "partyline" or part of their groupmind.
So, the question is, what else are they willing to do to intervene? What other decisions will be made?
Note: I make no claim of any psychic or channeled ability. The above is simply a bit of detective thinking....

We all learned to say "No!" at about age 3. The leaders of this country see Occupy as a failure, unfocused as it is. Greek opposition parties just released a position paper that is frightening as to its dreamy proposals - increasing spending on all sorts of social programs while they can't pay for basic services - and vital prescription drugs can't be had in the nation.
This is the critical point: we need a sign that this Ascension intervention is really happening - otherwise, this marching and protesting ends in horror. We protest, they buy millions of rounds of ammunition, we hold signs, they fly drones, we sit in parks, they pass laws for indefinite detention without trial.
We need evidence.....
Why won't the ET's give us free energy? It would bring down the "Cabal" quite throughly and without bloodshed. It almost seems like the whole answer to human problems. Perhaps they don't want to wreck centralized authority. As the Greeks seem determined to find out, honestly paying taxes and cooperating is good for supporting pensions and healthcare. Government isn't all bad. (and oddly enough, I contribute to the Libertarian Party!)
I'm looking for any objective evidence of a general improvement in psychic ability in the world. Such a thing might be the triggering event that creates unitary consciousness ....... and all else good that follows.
I will say - that if mass telepathy isn't possible - a virtual electronic telepathy might be close at hand. If you read about Google's development of internet linked popup display glasses, they are quite remarkable and get us close to linking up, mind to mind.
Here's a bit more logic plus intuition:
6) they respect evolution as a process - Evolution is a process that can produce nearly miraculous results but, by itself, is not kind or merciful or whatever. It just is. If they have observed evolution over milennia, across the universe, it probably influences their thinking deeply.....which brings us to the Big Problem Of All Channeled Literature and Hopes That ET's Will Jump In And Fix What's Wrong With Us - There's an inherent contradiction in these hopes and it does no good for us to blindly hope until we figure it out.
Many of you out there have kids and that should instruct you as to what the problem is. A good parent does not always intervene when their kids get in trouble and rightly so! You don't want your child to be killed or maimed but you also realize that they will be weak, inept and dependent if you keep 'bailing them out'. In business and politics, this is sometimes called "moral hazard". If I wreck my Bank, you'll bail me out, right?
An additional point about intervention: doesn't it make sense that a truly superior civilzation could do much better than We Do, as in Iraq and Afghanistan? I don't want to get political here but ET's probably have a better system of discreet intervention than a) invade b) bomb everything c) set up elections d) hope like heck they get 'civilized' and leave....?
That's the problem: ET's COULD intervene but would that prevent our moral development?
Is Disclosure mostly designed as a sort of set of "white lies" designed for our benefit? In the same way that "Startrek" changed our culture even though it was fiction?
Whatever other speculations I might have, this one is certain: 'Free energy" would change our world profoundly. Banks, oil companies, Mid-east governments, and much, much more would whither and die. The question is then, why don't aliens give it to us? Perhaps it would disrupt our world too greatly.....
