Confirmational Bias In Science

It is often said that one difference between science and religion is that in the latter skeptisism and questioning is fatal while in the former, it is the fuel and the engine. But I doubt this. More accurately, science seem to be just another denomination. The only difference is that in the temple of laboratory, offerings to fund the rituals called experiments are enforced on citizens via taxation while in the church, you give willingly!It is ridiculus that people spend untold hours critisizing religions and gives a very smooth time to a gang of possibly bozos who declared themselves as the spoksmen of nature. Given that science boast that it embraces critisism, we should be constantly giving them the dose like a daily bread. No one forces you to go to church, much less to give offerings there. If christians etc are sleeping, then we gotta only add to they yet another layer of blanket. We give everyone what they embrace. But we should be down on science. This is where your huge tax goes. This is where governments forces you to go and learn. We should always stand by a scientist with our clubs ready. Should he mess abit, your money must be instantly refunded or the club should land on the head.We know very well that a human being can tend to see things only that fit in his beleif system. If a christian goes to Egypt to study history, the story he will spit out is completely different from if an atheist did the research. It is like the outer world is a mirrow we use to see our own beleifs. Does this trend suddenly end when an accademician is blessed by the scientific establishment? It would be stupid to think that there are a set of people in our world that are immune to this trait if we are supposed to question everyone even if scientists came down from heaven like the sons of gods.Science is supposed to be an adventure. I don't think modern science is any more like it were in the days of Benjamin Franklin. Modern scientist is out to persuade, prove, impress etc but not to DISCOVER. Franklin saw an electric spark and SUSPECTED that lightning was electricity. In modern science, we don't suspect, we ESPECT!! There is a preconceived idea that is wagging at the back of the mind. He is disparately trying to PROVE something and not to discover a secreat of nature. He gets disapointed, panic etc when the results doesn't turn out to be what he wants! This has been clearly seen amongst physicists working on the theory of supersymmetry. However, like any human being, if a scientist goes to a laboratory with a too much espectation, he will certainly see what he want to see! That it would be confirmed by other scientists doesn't mean alot if the beleif spread. It is just like religion.If a modern scientist gets what fits in the current paradigm, it is readily absorbed. There is no reconfirmation. For instance it was said that Higgs was discovered in 2013. In the following year, people had already been awarded with nobel prizes for it!! However, the so call 'Axis of Evil', a far more revolutionary discovery, was done in 1989 and it was observed over and over with skeptism till a final knockout in 2013! In 1919 when Edington observed the bending light, Einstein became an instant celebrity and GR got instantly accepted yet the observation was not REPEATABLE nor independently confirmed first by other scientists!! Some experiments like those reported by OPERA about neutrinos shooting faster than light stays on pending till someone finds a fault in it. However, if one dilligently look at any experiment to find a fault and with too much expectation of finding one, he will ALWAYS find one!

A sad story is that of Halton Arp, a fully qualified anstronomer, was fired and denied to look through telescopes when he pointed out evidences contrary to big bang theory! This is beleivable for Galileo suffered the same thing. Human being is always a human being. We should not espect that modern man is immune to the erors that bedeviled our fore farthers. History can and do repeat itself in many ways.

Now, the physicist working in OPERA was also asked to resign for discovering a neutrino seeming to move faster than light! Resign for doing his job??? This is just the 'kicking out of synagoque' churchness. In science, we use observations to guide us to find the true theory of narture. The scientists in OPERA are a bunch of bozos. We don't do the vise-versa; use a man made theory to guide us to determine which experiments are correct. If we do this idiotic wayround, we will ALWAYS confirm the theory no matter how wrong it is. That is why all religions persist for thaosands of years.

Some blame the press for quickly announcing such. (but of course they didn't blame it in 1919 for launching Einstein to satelight or for higgs). What they are saying is that scientific press should waite till the high priests of science bless a discovery and then you should be told only what the priests decides. You are denied the right to exermine how your tax is being used!

What an exellent statement by Nikola Tesla, Winger! He saw through even to future. In the 21st centuary, this is far truer than at then! What they call physics has become a mind boggling maze of equations that is hard to falsify.

Why did the 'Axis Of Evil' took over 10years to be swallowed? Why did higgs took just hours to be embraced? Simple no one can pin down the axis with an equation. No one predicted it with some 'beautifull math'. The mathphysicist has long left genuine science to astrology, fortune telling and neumerology!

The math is DEDUCED using human reasoning! It is not that someone collects data, plot graphs and then find an equation that fit the graph. No no no no! A mathphysicist makes an assumption about how narture outa be such as:

1.)Laws of phyc must be symmetrical
2.)The values of constants must be 'natural' (based on human definition of 'natural')
3.)The 'fundamental forces of nature' must be expressed by a single equation.
4.)There has to be a single equation that apply both in microscopic and macroscopic. Etc

When findings doesn't fit in those baseless assumptions, it means we get imerced in equation after equation trying to find the 'true laws'! The resuls, like Tesla says, we arive at a structure that is devorced from reality!
