Hey Guys :)

Now, I think that if anyone knows me, knows that I'm hardly fanciful or bubbly. In fact, I'm extremely logical but I am very fond of analogies. Here's my latest one. Hope you enjoy it.

I was researching black roses (a moment of nostalgia from my Goth days) and I came across an idea that was in an anime show. The show was based on roses.  The black rose was symbolic of the dark side of your soul. I thought this was a particularly interesting idea.

We have been talking about duality and ego a lot on this site. Throwing it around. Propping it up one moment and hitting it down the next. And I thought. Wouldn't it be nice if we just thought of it in terms of roses? The ego and dark side can be the black rose. Dark and not as pretty but still a rose, right? And I think it can even be used to learn about just being different people. Different personalities.

The lighter side is any rose you prefer. We are always changing and evolving. We are multifaceted. We have many different coloured roses in our own unique bouquets. And every now and then we meet another bouquet and our colours clash. It doesn't make us any less beautiful and we shouldn't dim our colours because of it. Let your colours out and be dark and light. Smile at the colours that clash with yours.

In our everyday lives, you will meet different people with different minds and souls. More of this and less of that. Still people though. They make mistakes and so do you. What I've learned is, we need to groom our leaves and soak up some healing water every now and then. As a very logical person who has recently connected with the lighter side of myself, I've learned to be kind and let my pink rose shine bright (sounded less suspect in my mind lol). I was very shy and hesitant to do this. I saw it as a punishment actually. A very sweet but scary lesson there :)

What rose do you wish you could let be part of your bouquet?

Love and Respect

  • One of world's greatest love balads in an XL vocal group makeover, including a goose bumps factor. Don't be afraid to show YOUR true colors!

With out diversity on all levels, this world would only be one big ball bearing the blackness of space it sits in, reflecting Nothing at all.

Some people walk around with faulty colored marbles in their marble bag, and very small amount of people walk around showing only one steel ball bearing that’s always out of the bag,  and others the wider majority on this site have an overflowing bag of  colorful energy Orbs --- for anyone to see.   Neutrality all things in our awareness are necessary, -- including the lone ball bearings rolling around hear.  LOL

Even the few lone ball bearings if they work together can make music too.

  • nice post, thank u

  • to understand the natural laws of logical one must understand the logical laws of nature and the analogy you described begins with an inspirational insight to the kingdom of heaven.
