I've been wondering if disclosure is something needed. What good would it do if gov'ts came out and admitted what they may know about ufos, etc.? I don't see how it would improve life on this world. I don't understand why some people act like disclosure is so badly needed. It's like they obsess over it. I'm of the opinion that we're better off without disclosure. I don't think most of society would handle it well. Unfortunately humanity is still a species that murders each other over gender, color, religion, sexuality, and basically everything that doesn't matter. We also have a really hard time taking responsibility for our screw ups. Such as denying that global warming and climate change are disasters caused by man mistreating the planet. These issues are probably why aliens won't come out and announce themselves. How can we be expected to handle that when we can't even handle mundane differences in each other? If aliens really are watching, they probably think we suffer from a Thanatos instinct, and they would be right.
