I thought I'd try a little poetry, so tell me what you think?

Discontent for the Malcontents:

They hate thier lives,
and thier wives.
Hard they strive,
With no abide.

They have lots of things,
and wear bling-bling.
They wear nice shoes,
But they haven't got a clue.

They got a job,
But they're all a bunch of snobs.
They got lots of money
and they think they're funny.

Discontent for the Malcontents.
They have everything,
I have nothing.
Walk a mile in my shoes,
You have yet to pay your dues!

They hate thier cat.
They hate thier dog.
In resteraunts to eat dinner,
Dieting to get thinner.

They got boats,
They got dingy's.
They got all kinds of thingy's.
They got cars,
hang out in bars.
Smoking cigars,
They think they're all stars!

At Starbucks they go,
For a big cup of jo.
In the Denny's,
They pull out thier bennies.
They wear nice clothes,
And call thier girl friends hoes.

Discontent for the Malcontents,
They have everything,
I have nothing.
Walk a mile in my shoes,
You ain't begun to pay your dues!

On and on they always complain,
Lacking logic, it's all insane.
never content,
With the life they have.
Wreaking of fear,
They can't see what's dear?

I sit and wonder,
My life asunder.
How can one have so much?
And yet make a fuss!
A siver linning they have,
And life is so fav.

On and on it never ends,
So they tell thier friends.
I look for the day,
When this will all be gone!

Discontent for the Malcontents,
They have everything,
I have nothing.
Walk a mile in my shoes,
You ain't begun to pay your dues!

  • Thanx guys......I would say more but I'm often very critical of my creations. Like I said I'm a perfectionist, I did a painting for a guy one time and he was happy with it, but too me it was crap LOL....I kept working on it even though the guy was happy with it and thought I was done and when I finished he said "look at that, you f*cked up a perfectly good painting!?" He still paid me but boy he was pissed!! I'm just highly critical of "my stuff".

I wrote a poem for a contest and "felt" I just couldn't get it right? (My perfectionism at work once more!?) I saved the original but I ended up deleting the additions that I made, but by the time I did the contest was over!? I showed it to my professor (as of then) and he was like "you idiot you should have submitted the original, what's wrong with you?" It was very, very good!? I hit the nail from time to time but to me it just....like I said I'm a perfectionist" one of my flaws!?~_~

LOL see I went back and corrected my mistakes on my posts!? LOL
  • I was very depressed last night and wanted to express myself, guess just fed up wth life in general. So an urge hit me to be creative, but all my art supplies is not with me at this time, couldn't get it on the boat so I decided to write some poetry. Some people like my poetry but I don't think it's very good?.....not pulitzer material that's for sure!?

But what felt good was getting that poison out of me, because I don't do "depression"!? LOL~_~
