This is a positive step, by India....
All dolphins are sentient aquatic beings and although members of the animal kingdom, hold a high degree of spiritual evolution and a potential role as fully-fledged sea guardians, as their counterparts on many fully conscious worlds, such as the Sirius B planets of Atarmunck and Muktarin-Samanet....
Just as the humanoids of these planets and the star nation that they combine to make, serve as planetary guardians and conduct daily rituals to maintain the viability of the biosphere, both inner and outer...Likewise Sirian dolphins, which resemble those of earth, albeit twice the size and silver-grey in colour, serve as sea guardians....
So dolphins are sacred Cetaceans, along with whales and should be honoured as such and never kept in zoos, or aquatic parks, etc...
On Sirian worlds, zoos are simply unheard of and the concept of containment would never be entertained and if it ever were, for the purpose of study, holograph environment techologies would furnish such creatures with vast habitates for perfect freedom...
Sirian dolphins are fully telepathic and possess brains vaster than those of earth humans, although, they are strictly still members of the animal kingdom, but serve a spiritual purpose, no less important to that of their land counterparts...
