  ...and having these discussions are wonderful and I love hearing all sides, all the many sides to of our stories from our hearts and our minds. We are so lucky to have this place to come together and to do this.

  It seems that fear is part of discerning, it is a feeling, it creates a thought, then a decision. As I said there are many many layers. There are many positive ET experiences. There are many negative ones. If you are attacked by a certain "type" of person, you will always fear that type of person, instinctively, it is how humans are made. Are all people of that "type" bad? Is that stereotyping people based on race, color, religion, location? I have begun to wonder if we have begun to stereo type ETs in that way...I don't know, I just wonder. See how complex this becomes? And here we sit debating amongst ourselves and full disclosure has not yet even occurred. I think we should love and care for our fellow humans that have been harmed by ETs and nurture their fear, try to understand. It is a frightening experience you feel you have no control over...and if you tell, who will believe you? I have both negative and positive experiences myself. What is the answer? I do not know. I think we need to begin to understand the answer to these questions ourselves. Maybe this begins with each one of us individually.

    i agree here Kelly...nobody's putting all in the same category... we dont stereotype anyone... we talk about individuals, or groups here...just as not all humans are good, same goes with ET's...
    i have heard that even beings which appear as light beings, may be malevolent...and others which are not so "good-looking" in our eyes, may be the most loving beings...
    we dont say: "this whole race is a bad one"... if anybody's saying that, hes in ignorance of course....
    ...but usually there are large or smaller groups from the same race, that are of the dark...

  i agree to a certain % with the posts of Kelly, and LAF...
  yes...i support so far Steve Basset, Dr.Michael Salla, Alfred Webre, and others who work on the disclosure field...
  ...but i dont know if i can say the same about Dr.Greer... and the reason for this
  is that Dr.Greer says that all ET's are good ones..there are no bad guys out there...
  i dont know, but this statement raises a few flags in me...
  ..and this of course is the reason for the debate that happens on ufo communities about
  Dr.Greer...
  do u expect me to say "Ohhh, how nice..the government made a full disclosure,
  and stated that we are all friends with the ET's, and they are all good guys...
  no need to worry about anything!!!"

  Anyone can believe anything that the government tells them....

    I agree with you V4VP. I do not accept that there are only benevolent species interacting with earth, because I know through my own experiences that there are species that want what we have and are willing to do what ever it takes to take away from humans. I agree that using discernment does not mean that one is living in fear as so many new agers say.

  I disagree with your perspective, Ann, except that it IS up to us. Greer is trying to “manipulate” the government, NOT the other way around. He’s not waiting for the government to disclose – he’s attempting to work with the government to make disclosure happen. Because when it does happen, we won’t have to rely solely on the government for the facts – inevitably open contact will follow (if it's not simultaneous). With everything, discernment on our part is always vital.
  
  As screwed up as the government may or may not be, the fact remains that this is what we’ve got to work with. And people like Greer, Bassett, Salla, etc. are the best that we have going for us. Should they stop trying to get the truth out there because our government cannot be trusted? These pioneers focus on what we want as opposed to what we don’t want. Icke wisely tells us to get up off our knees – we have to live, breathe and be the changes we want to see.
  
  The messages from every single ET that you say you trust advise us to live in love and not fear. Obviously you only trust even these ET’s up to a certain point. They have not evolved to their level of consciousness by living in any kind of fear, much less fear of other species. If you tried living without any fear for one day, just one day, surely you will feel the difference in your life and in turn feel the difference it makes for all consciousness on this planet. And this doesn’t require that you live in la la land either. It just requires that you live through the good heart that you do have.

  We have to use our own discernment. To judge a whole group as one is in and of itself the seeds of racism. I think we shouldn't assume that all government peoples are bad, it's just too black and white, it's very complicated, there are many many layers. I do have a hard time believing that extraterrestrials would present themselves physically with full disclosure to a planet that is still very racial and holds many prejudices against race and religion - race including those that have experienced terrifying experiences with abductions - there is much fear and distrust. I do believe that it has to begin with ourselves, our own vibrations and meditations, creating contact ourselves - but it is also important if we want ETs to fully show themselves that we are able to imagine how this is going to effect those humans that have never ever had the kinds of experiences and open minds that we have had. How can we help them? I don't think we can do that with anger and distrust. I'm not sure how this can play out but I feel that the planet as a whole is not yet ready.

    So true Kelly that I was being prejudicial about the government, which I should not have been. I realize full well that not every one in the government is out to harm us, so sorry for the sweeping comment about the government. I was using a broad generality because it is easier. There are a lot of black operations that even the upper echelons of the government are not privy too including the President, so I cannot lay blame on all government employees, and I realize this. I spoke in generalities obviously. Also I should not have labeled all Zetas as being preditory and insensitive to humans bodies, emotions, and minds...I am sure maybe there a good Zetas who are benevolent. But from my own personal experiences, some of them are definitely not that nice to humans, and I refuse to deny that fact and say they are all nicey nicey and that we should not have any apprehension about them, I just cannot do it, any more than I could say that a child rapist should be allowed to be around children because he or she had emotional troubles and that all should be forgiven. Forgiven yes, but not to the extent that you hand the next victim to them on a platter. I call that old fashioned discernment and not being a bigot or prejudiced. I did live in fear for a long time, and I can say that if anyone lived my life, in my circumstances, that maybe people would not be so quick to label abductees as somehow flawed for being traumatized and fearful because of their experiences. You speak of of not having anger and mistrust. Well I am sorry if you feel I am part of the problem why the benevolent "aliens" will not show themselves. I did not ask for what happened to me, so do not be surprised if I am overly discerning about any offworlders we may encounter. I feel it highly naive to assume that there are no nonbenevolent offworlders out there, as Greer purports. I am a loving person, and am not holding grudges anymore and am just trying to live my life in hope and in joy, but it is not easy...so much criticism in the new age community is leveled against abductees. That we are not loving enough, forgiving enough, that we chose these experiences (which could very well be true) for growth experiences.....It is not an easy road to live the life of an abductee, scorned, ridiculed, disbelieved, ostracized. So maybe that is why I am a little sad to hear that people think that the aliens would not disclose their presence because of abductees who have apprehensions and fears. Maybe we have good reason....I am letting that fear go to live a more peace filled life, but I never will let go of my discernment.
