  Thought I would share a few things I have been learning lately from the Urantia Book (which is new to me). According to it, humans DID evolve from a primate group, but through a series of sudden changes at different times, rather than slowly and incrementally. Humans began with a boy and girl, who were twins, and were much more advanced that their parents and social grouping. They were also erect in stature, like us. They ran away from their family, had offspring, and developed their own clan, which dispersed over time, and with further sudden changes at different times, developed the various human races etc.
  
  I am not sure at what point the ET influence entered the picture, and in what form. The Urantia book says that Adam and Eve were NOT the first humans, instead they came here from off-planet to help improve the human stock, so to speak. They weren't supposed to breed directly with the humans, but they did (the 'original sin'), because they were impatient to see results (ie not out of lust). They had lots of offspring, which have subsequently bred with humans, so this would certainly have mixed ET genes into our gene pool. But that was probably just the beginning.
  
  As an aside - it seems that the Rh negative blood grouping maybe associated with ET lineage. It is rare
  and seems to be associated with particular traits. It also appears that Rh negative people are more commonly the victims of abduction encounters.
  
  From what I understand, our DNA has been manipulated, especially in the sense that large parts of it have be de-activated, so that we are unable to use our full abilities. I am not sure how or when this has occurred, but it is easy to see why those who seek to control us would want this.
