First Gene-Edited 'Next Generation' Humans Born In China....NEXT GENERATION HUMANS

According to media reports, twin sisters were born in China whose DNA had previously been altered with the gene editing tool CRISPR.

If this is true, it would be a huge leap for science and ethics.

The scientist is planning to create people who are immune to diseases and viruses like HIV.

It’s "unconscionable ... an experiment on human beings that is not morally or ethically defensible," said Dr. Kiran Musunuru, a University of Pennsylvania gene editing expert and editor of a genetics journal.
