A plastic surgeon is a person that makes money off of peoples desire to avoid being in their natural state.
A plastic surgeon makes a living off of the fear of being unique.
He also had to go through the whole pharmaceutical education and become a REAL doctor (i.e he doesn't believe in either healing nor the power of the spirit).
And this person wants us to cut human contact, that just happens to be one of the most essential needs humans will ever have on this world, down to a bare minimum, just because the fear of germs?
Germs that can easily be cured by even basic students of the human potential?
Also, the spread of antibiotic-resistant bacteria has very little to do with handshakes. It has to do with
1. our meat-industry and their standardized use of antibiotics.
2. our hospitals, that basically are centrals where bacteria and viruses gets concentrated and then exposed to different types of pharmaceuticals
3. the prisons of eastern europe, where only half doses of antibiotics are given to the prisoners whereas they develope resistance rather than getting cured.
4. our own excessive use of antibiotics. How many here do NOT know someone who've ordered meds online instead of getting them from a proper doctor and with a proper diagnose?
5. the combination of the four above are a one-way ticket to antibiotic-resistant bacteria.
Well my dear doctor, you may take this article and shove it up the same place you seem to have had your head since you graduated. ;)
Germs can come into my body, but so far none of them have been able to come back out alive.
I am a Human AND a materially conscious multidimensional Spirit, the only difference between me and a God is that I sometimes choose to be evil just for the pleasure of it.
Only go for hugging if you know the person very well.
Children however, should be hugged always and as often as possible, whether you know them well or not. :)
KRISHNA: As a RN, I partially agree AND disagree with you. Failure to expose oneself to certain common gems and flora (especially when one is young) leads to a badly equipped immune system. This is why so many "rich kids" have immune disorders; that piece of dirt that is yanked out of the mouths by their protective nanny may prevent the formation of important immunoglobulins (white blood cells) and result in an immune memory not equipped for certain important white blood cells needed later on life. The same applies when one is older, but it doesn't mean you should go wild and do stupid stuff like make love in the insect invested woods with someone you don't know or consume animal waste products because certain holy people did.
The integumentary system (skin) is a good protective system against pathogen invaders. But keep it clean, and don't to outlandish stuff that may force your immune system to work harder than it should, especially as you get older.

I don't see why it's necessary to judge someone based on their tobacco or alcohol consumption. Yes, it is stupid but it is their choice and they aren't harming anyone besides themselves. I'd still shake their hand, there is no harm in it.
