but there is 4th state which is Contanimated Food.
The 4th state contanimated food is the worse and this is:
Food where the consciousness of those cooking is not good. In this case they may be talking nonsense in the kitchen while preparing food, they may be using swear words in the kitchen, they may not be washing hands as often as they should, they may be playing 3rd class music while cooking, kitchen may not be clean enough, may be eating in the kitchen while cooking, they may be using mobile phones in the kitchen which is out of order as mobile phones are more dirty then money because some use them in the washrooms, cooks not wearing aprons, gloves and hairnets plus a few other faults...all this leads to the food being contanimated.
Then the person who is serving the food may not serve it properly ..they may be touching the food, the inside of the plates and cutlery with their dirty hands plus a few other faults you may notice which leads to the food being contanimated.
Lastly the person's eating must wash their hand first if they do not then they have contanimated the food.
The 4th state which is beyond modes and which I have described is the worse state as the contanimated food you will eat will make you sick and taste not that good. Some of the 4th state can be nutrilised by reciting a purification prayer before eating which is good but really the cooks and those who serve must concentrate in putting good vibes and energy in the food ...this they must be aware off or they should not even be cooking or serving food.
In the age of Kali which is now most are eating the 4 state of food which is contaminated food which is making them sick.
The 4th state should be avoided as much as possible as it like eating posionious food which will surly make you sick and eating it every day will in the end kill you

Funny enough 1st Yuga ...mode of goodness
2nd Yuga . .mode of goodness ..slight mode of passion and ignorance.
3rd Yuga .mode of goodness but a bit more of passion and ignorance.
4th Yuga the Kali Yuga which is now mostly eating food that is contanimated by humans ....few in the mode of goodness but more in the mode of passion and ignorance.

I repeat again....most people are eating the 4th state of food which is contaminated food
