  if the repubs take the senate and remain dominant in the house and even take the white house there is a chance of repeal but already sen. McConnell R says that it will be very difficult-he was probably told by his puppet masters that they are positioned to make billions-it's all about the money for a sect few

  Under past laws of disable folks(as long as they can prove their claims ) and current proposal of Abama~care , I can qualify faster and easier for new "gov~care"; I refuse both.

  I would rather eat a salad, cucumber or a banana with basil than take their free pills and shots of a cocktail of unknown chemical origins, up my veins...........................

  Down with O~bama~Care....................................it will only give you free controlling substances .........................

  The senate and the house are both not paying attention to the American people...what a joke they have both become... do you really think there will be an election? I don't... I think it is the end of Amerika as we know it... the end of the illegal corporation that has seized and run this country since it's inception.

  Obamacare isn't a tax, there's one provision in the bill that says people who can afford it, have to buy health insurance, or face a penalty, a penalty as low as $90. That is not a tax lol And the individual mandate is important, because that makes people take responsibility for themselves. If you get in a car wreck and don't have health insurance, other people then have to foot the bill to pay for your treatment, when you just could've bought insurance. That's not fair, that's milking the system. And the bill gives exemptions for financial hardships, it even gives subsidies to people who don't have the money to afford it.

  People take this totally out of context, just for political purposes, to bring Obama down. The bill is a good bill, it does alot to help Americans, in fact, it doesn't even do enough. People, like Mitt Romney, complain about how it's a tax and unconstitutional, even though he did the exact same thing as Governor of Massachusetts and defended the individual mandate and said it wasn't a tax, but because he's running against Obama now, it is a tax and it's wrong. Or the rest of the GOP, who were the first ones to introduce an individual mandate, the individual mandate is the brain child of the GOP, but when Obama tries to do it, it's wrong and horrible and anti-American. This is just pure politics.

    Yes, John!! As always I resonate with your comments!  We are really on the same page!  I am a U.S. citizen and health insurance is so expensive and now the health clinics are charging the same as the private doctors.  My 21 year old son is self employed and has no health insurance.  He had seizures a few years ago and can't get in to see a doctor without paying cash up front...lots of cash!!  Good old Governator Arnold Schwartznegger of California cut any State funding for dentist and eye care.  He is a member of the cabal as far as I'm concerned!  He has his eye on being a Senator, and wants to change the constitution so that he can run for President on the republican party ticket!  Oh, but don't dare think of Obama not being a citizen and becoming President!!  Sorry, I got sidetracked a bit.  The seniors are having the worst of it as Medicare is a joke!

      Well California was just about broke, and he promised he wouldn't raise taxes, so he had to make some budget cuts and curb California's out of control spending, and...it's a tough position to be in. Either way, you lose. You raise taxes, people hate you. You cut social programs, people hate you. You borrow money and increase the debt, people hate you. Being a politician, and governing and managing a state or country, isn't an easy job, especially when you inherit a mess. Ask Obama lol

      But I think it's pretty ridiculous how Americans don't want what they call socialized health care, like we have here in Canada. If they did, your son would've got treated, without having to pay anything. It's a better system, but people don't want it, just because of some fear that America will become a socialist country. We have national health care here, Canada isn't a socialist country. Alot of European countries have their own form of national health care, but they're not socialist countries.

      And I don't even think socialism itself is a bad idea, in alot of ways it's better, it's better than the profit over people, dog eat dog, survival of the fittest, only the strongest and most wealthy survive capitalist system, what they call free market. They mention the word free, and people go, oh yes freedom! They mention the word socialism and people go, oh tyranny, Adolf Hitler, Stalin! lol Oh lord.

            Now that's baloney, I've read the lists of the taxes involved in Obamacare, and the taxes are there to make sure everyone is insured, to make sure it's payed for, to make sure companies are living up to decent health care standards, and to provide an incentive for people to not use pharmaceuticals. And most of those taxes are on rich people making 250,000 plus a year, and for the most part, it's only the rich people complaining about it. The thing you quoted only goes for people who have Cadillac health care plans, to even out the playing field.

            And look it's not a perfect bill, but at least it will make sure everyone has health insurance, so they won't go bankrupt if they are hit with a sudden illness or injury. People can twist it all they want, and interpret the bill to suit their political agenda, but something needs to be done. And you know, there wouldn't be all these problems, if Americans just agreed to have a national health care system like we have here in Canada, instead of going for this type of complex bandaging, because they're afraid of socialism.

    I was born and raised in Taxachusetts. I have seen it 50 some years ago and up to today. It's not my home state any more, I moved from there because it turned into a socialist state.

    
    I pay over 5,000 a year for insurance now plus my hospital bills that my insurance doesn't cover. They are thieves the whole lot of them.
