General J. A. Samford and UFOs
Credible observers reporting incredible objects,” said USAF General J. A. Samford in the year 1952, and his comment is still true today. Honest and intelligent people are still reporting strange objects that are difficult, and sometimes impossible, to relate to known physical phenomena. Enough attention has been brought to this serious problem that the US Government officially took action on two separate occasions. The first time was when it was thought that UFOs (Unidentified Flying Objects) might possibly be evidence of the technological capability of a foreign, but an Earth based power. In reaction to that possibility, the US Air Force Foreign Technology Division located at Wright Patterson Air Force Base was given the tough job of determining whether or not the mysterious UFOs were a threat to the security of the United States. Unfortunately, many people thought that the job was to determine exactly what the UFOs were. In the years, which have followed, the Air Force has been unjustly maligned for supposedly “covering up” the “real truth” about UFOs.
In actuality, the Air Force did precisely the job to which it was assigned. It determined the extent to which the UFOs threatened national security. The extent was found to be zero! However, the public was so unhappy with the lack of any real conclusions as to the nature of the UFOs, that the Government took further actions to resolve the issue. One of those actions, in 1966 it contracted for an independent scientific study to determine the real nature of UFOs.
UFO Graphics via Metrocosm
A new excellent map via Metrocosm says in sensational detail, the interactive map compiles more than 90,000 reports of UFO sightings in the United States since 1905. Data was taken from the National UFO Reporting Center and the Mutual UFO Network.
The glowing dots on the map represent witness reports, and are sized proportionately to the number of witness reports in each region for each particular sighting: small (individual report), medium (small group reports), and large (multiple witness reports).
Although Philadelphia itself has been fairly quiet on the UFO front, there have been plenty of UFO reports around the Philly area over the past hundred or so years, particularly in Burlington, New Jersey, where 75 witnesses report seeing “bright beam of light omitted from cylinder” on a September evening in 2007. Numerous sightings occur above the Delaware River shown has black ribbon on the map. Several reports often from police or military personnel indicate the UFOs may hide under water in the river.
The map’s detail includes sketches, photos, and even videos of strange sightings in the Philadelphia area and beyond. Just try not to get lost for hours wading through the first-person witness reports.

I spotted two UFOs directly above my house. They were circular with orange/yellow type lights going around the outside of the two crafts. After a few minutes, one UFO turned off its lights. I could still see this craft even with the lights off. The craft with the lights off then proceeded north leaving the other behind and still lit up. At this point, I ran into my house for binoculars. The craft that was lit turned off its lights and proceeded north. I followed this one with my binoculars as it headed north. Neither UFO made any sound at all. They flew much faster than a commercial jet. Upon reaching a north point, they both picked up speed made a sharp right turn and were gone. My wife spied three more UFOs south of my house that were not lit up, and moved north at a fast rate of speed. During these ten minutes, every dog in the neighborhood was barking. We also smelled the smell of something burning. I do not know if the burnt smell and dogs were related but the dogs stopped barking and the smell went away. Sleep tight, Philly.

NSA Has the Smoking Gun Evidence of Alien Contact

Not a lot of people realize this but the National Security Agency (NSA) has on their website proof of Extraterrestrial contact under the title “Key to the Extraterrestrial messages” (found under NSA PDF). This is a hugely important step towards Disclosure and something, which is far too overlooked by the UFO community. The original document was cleared for public release back in October 2004, but strangely not ‘officially’ released into the Public Domain until April 2011! Such an important document needs to be seen by the world as this is on the NSA’s actual website, sat there waiting for all to see. We want Disclosure of Alien contact, then here you go! This treasure trove of documents available, one is particularly interesting from the NSA Technical Journal Vol. XIV No 1 with FOIA Case number 41472, which has been titled ‘Extraterrestrial Intelligence’. The document authored by a Dr. Campaigne, presents a series of 29 messages received from outer space.
Here’s an extremely interesting snippet from the journal: “Recently a series of radio messages was heard coming from outer space. The transmission was not continuous, but cut by pauses into pieces, which could be taken as units, for they were repeated over and over again. The pauses show here as punctuation. The various combinations have been represented by letters of the alphabet, so that the messages can be written down. Each message except the first is given here only once. The serial number of the messages has been supplied for each reference.” If anybody ever mocks you for believing in Aliens, then please feel free to steer them towards the NSA’s website!
NSA Document Admits ET Contact
On October 21, 2004, the NSA approved for release to the public a portion of their NSA Journal Vol. XIV No. 1. This is a report of a presentation given to the NSA by Dr. Howard Campaigne regarding the decoding of extraterrestrial messages that had been received “from outer space”. Apparently, these messages had actually been received via the Sputnik satellite, but no one had any idea how to decode them at the time. Dr. Howard Campaigne and some other NSA super mathematicians in the crypto department had been given the task of decoding the messages.
There were a total of 29 messages to be decoded — quite an undertaking. It is curious, to say the least, that this document was cleared for release on October 21, 2004. Why was that? Because the NSA did not release it into public information until April 21, 2011. Though cleared for release, the NSA had been stonewalling it along with hundreds of other NSA documents about contact with UFOs and extraterrestrials until they lost the lawsuit brought by Peter Gersten, a lawyer from Arizona. When they truly lost, the judge’s order had to be carried out, and the documents had to be released. It is curious, though, that during his presentation Dr. Campaigne mentions there are “words” that they have translated, and some “words” they have not yet begun to understand. He gives an example of a connective word that he knows is connective (joining two or more statements) but does not yet understand the translation of that word. Debunkers are scared of the release of this information as it proves beyond any doubt that they are, and always have been, dead wrong.

Globular Clusters as Cradles of Life in Advanced Civilizations
They will be able to send exploratory probes to nearby stars and receive data that takes only days, weeks, or months to reach them. They may be able to travel to nearby planetary systems that are hospitable and establish self-sustaining colonies over time scales far shorter than seems possible for advanced civilizations, which, like our own, inhabit the relatively diffuse Galactic disk. Civilizations spawned in a globular cluster may have opportunities to establish self-sustaining outposts, thereby reducing the probability that a single catastrophic event will destroy the civilization or its descendants. Although individual civilizations within a cluster may follow different evolutionary paths, or even be destroyed, the cluster may always host some advanced civilization, once a small number of them have managed to jump across interstellar space. Civilizations residing in globular clusters could therefore, in a sense, be immortal. PDF
Mercy ship Atlantic Ocean UFO
This happened one night back in 1991 while I was a volunteer on a Mercy ship traveling from Los Angeles, CA to Riga, Latvia. The sighting occurred in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. We had traveled from Los Angeles thru the Panama Canal to the Atlantic. We were traveling on a refurbished World War 2 freight ship. Therefore, it was not a fast ship, after the sighting it took about 4-5 days more to arrive in Germany. Since there is not much to do while at sea, my group of five friends went outside to the quarterdeck of the ship one evening (around 7:30 PM. We were talking and looking at the ocean, when all of the sudden a large lighted rectangular structure suddenly appeared on the ocean surface. It didn’t land or surface, it was as if someone just turned on the lights.
It had several colors of light and they appeared to be positioned on a sequential way and it was cover with light from top to bottom. Since it was at night and at sea, sizes and distances are hard to acquire. Also the rush of adrenaline since we had been trained to always report if we saw something close to the ship, as there are risks of accidents. The ship I was traveling was close to 300 feet long, and this structure was enormous about 5 to 10 times bigger than our ship long wise and about 3-5 times taller. It was suddenly there, and all were alarmed. We started to wonder if it could be a gigantic ship, but it looked too big even for a cruise ship. The size was bigger than any ship and was also practically just a huge rectangular shape or a net of lights. The lights were big and I would guess it had about 500 to 1000 lights, all distributed in a sequential or neat pattern. After a minute, we realized we needed to inform the bridge crew. I and another friend ran up the stairs to inform the crew and when we walked into the flight bridge and you could tell they were alarmed. The First Mate was giving orders and the situation seems a bit stressed out. Once we could talk, we told them, “We saw something big with lots of light very close to the ship”. The First Mate told us that, “It all of a sudden disappeared from the radar”. We stayed there talking with the crew and wondering what it was. Several other crew members at the flight bridge had also seen the structure and were making arrangements to communicate with whatever was nearby. They had seen it on the radar, but it quickly disappeared from the radar and also visually, as if someone just had turned the lights off.
Regarding the location: I wrote Dominican Republic as this was perhaps the closest thing I could find on the map. But, the sighting took place in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. We witnesses talked about it and we all had seen the same thing. Unfortunately, none of us had a camera. It would be interesting to find out if this was documented in the ship’s log. The Picture shows a comparison between the ship and the lighted structure in the ocean. The images were put together using images found online and remember the sighting was at night.
