It's the intent that is measured in those cases.
ACUTE OBSERVER, THIS POST IS LABELED HUMOR. And I was making a joke about the playing of the race card. This is because it is becoming fashionable these days to use race as rationale for decision-making and to call people racists if they feel such decision-making is incorrect, especially if the decision-making person has brown skin.
George Carlin was certainly a genius. Seen all his videos on the Internet. My favorite one is where he talks about "obedient workers". I believe it's called The American Dream.
Some of his sayings are timeless: My favorite is: "It's a big club - and you ain't in it!"
Too bad he's not with us anymore.
