I won't say anything else, except I love the very smart people working for the Federal government and its' criminals for hire. You almost want to take them out and introduce them to your parents (or your parole officer, if you have one).
In addition to the unwritten message that my car can be stolen at anytime , my cars' electronics are very messed up (and the car was in repair for body work) as if somebody was doing something with them.
Don't you feel so wonderful, free, and protected to live in a country like the United States???

sorry to here, you are not alone in this play game.
speaking for myslef, i am of certain habits i do to assure myself i will find things like the car keys, etc.
so i have made certain chores automatic like the keys all go to one spot, as well other things are always done always the same, attention to detail mind game. like lock down the house when i go to sleep, no matter what.
for the ahassment: i have been going to the gyms and dojos for 40yrs and have pack on 70 pounds of muscle since i was in the service. and i love martial arts, the military styles are fast to learn and simple but deadly to any other citizen style, not even fair.
was your door open and a spare key shows up, or you know by habit you always lock your car, you know your car.

My car was having body work done at a well-respected repair shop with secure garages with alarms (I spotted a 1967 Corvette Stingray undergoing body work restoration being done at this facility) . I use a cable and a very serious lock to secure my car (via the towing notch between the rear wheels) to a post in my apartment complex garage. When I picked up my car, I opened up the trunk to get the cable and lock, and discovered that the lock was not attached to the cable and that the cable was cut in pieces.
