This discussion was originally going to be a reply to this one but I felt it was way too long and thus should be made a separate discussion.
Heh, offended by other choice of favorite colour. It's funny that you mention that because one time on one of my blogs I was being quite viciously attacked for basically not peddling the mainstream "love and light" dogma of the site and of my attacker. Didn't matter how much I and the other tried to be understanding and explain how our side was just ours and then point out the logical inconsistencies in their arguments which continued to hurl at us. Constantly stating "That" but not "why" they were right. I eventually used a playground analogy to show what the argument would look like if it were two 5 year olds and came up with:
Them: I like white
Me:I like grey
Them: Greys a stupid colour
Me: But I like grey, why's it stupid?
Them: Because it's stupid, stupid!
I also agree that there is very little harmony on this site. Or at least real harmony. What there is is groups that form around a single opinion and then reject all other opinions which they then mistakenly refer to as harmony instead of what it really is which is prejudice and persecution and intolerance to others viewpoints. I'm just as much to blame for it, after being persecuted by Lightworkers on this site for so long despite trying to be open and understanding of them I've just shut myself off to all of their nonsensical cultist dribble. I eventually came to the conclusion that if they don't want to understand me then why should I bother trying to understand them anymore? And so now it appears that just like them the only people who read anything I write are the members of my own little fringe clique because my views are necessarily critical of the dogma that has been bashed at me repeatedly. Therefore those who cling to that dogma for comfort will not want to read anything I write even if what I'm writing is true, logical, verifiable and especially not simply persecutor of the lightworker dogma as that is an inference that is made by those who don't like that I have a viewpoint that's different than theirs.
Real harmony would come from sitting down and understanding each other and why they believe what they do and not judging their beliefs based on content but based on truth. As an example, someone may believe that if they killed all the black people it would put their Ikea furniture together for them. But if they start killing black people... and their Ikea furniture is still just as incomplete as it was before they started and has indeed not even left the box... then their belief is false and should be judged as such. If that person says that you're wrong and not following the True Path of Ikea... then you should be able to persecute them for that. That's an extreme example to illustrate the point. That is the type of judgment I bear towards Lightworkers but not the type they tend to bear towards me. I explain why what they say is false whereas I'm only told that I am incorrect for stating such things.
As a good reference for understanding where my mindset comes from listen to the first few questions of this video.... In mean listening to the whole thing would be best and I highly recommend it but mainly its the first question where he explains the values of Atheism from his perspective.

There has to be a balance somewhere in life. I know there is one. Sometimes that balance line though is hard to see
