We women are usually seen as complicated, moody, hipersensitive and difficult. We just are not easily adapting to the robotic standards of modern society; work mostly by day time and be emotionally stable ALL THE TIME.
The most difficult season of the year for me since i moved here to Scandinavia 6 years ago is the summer; and not the winter as one could think, bcuz we latinamericans have a warmer climate down there; BUT we also have evenly amount of daylight and darkness both in winter and summer; BUT HERE IN SCANDINAVIA IT'S ALMOST NEVER DARK DURING THE SUMMER! this is pretty shocking to me; since i need to be both experiencing day and night to feel complete.
Does it have to be with me being a woman?? most likely and probably yes!
This same problem i experienced when i worked; in this societies you are forced to go to bed early so you can wake up early; and therefore you miss the whole night; and this also makes me feel very depressed after a while.
Well, let me tell you ppl that i was feeling very moody today; and it's bcuz i'm about to have my period. Now i wanted to google about what spiritual meaning is there in having your periods; in feeling how your hormones sink, and you feel a bit sick, moody and weak; and mostly like you want to be on your own.
At the same time, i recognize that i felt again like a problem when this happens, since your mood gets so "unexplainably" strange; and you feel again like "wow how complicated we are women!"but i found two articles that were really helpful and healing as well.
An excerpt of each article and a link:
"As women this gift and limitation seems to go beyond that of the male of the species. We seem to be more "trapped" in matter. Because we bleed, and ovulate, carry, bear and feed children, we are reminded on a regular basis that we have a body. We carry the magic of creation and death in our cyclic rhythms. We have the ability to more easily connect matter to spirit. We can innately contact God or soul through our cycles without the need for a cleric."

--------
"The whole menstrual cycle is an alchemical process in itself, during which every woman who bleeds goes through a transformation inside herself. To menstruate means to live through a cyclical transmutation in which the past is shed and the new in embraced. Experiencing this transformation through conscious ritual awakens us to our connection with the cycles taking place all around us and to our relationship with all life." AND YOU MEN, instead of telling us WHO DIFFICULT and unstable we are; can't you just be there to be OUR ROCKS when we are going thru all these many changes??
LOVE AND LIGHT TO EVERYBODY!!
