This explains the philosophy and life in Damanhur..
Vlada, ...I would certainly visit Damanhur if I was in the area. I would like to see these magnificent temples carved by hand from the inside of a mountain. Is it a cult ? guess that depends on ones way of thinking...if we believe blindly in anything then it becomes a cult for us....as long as we think about things deeply, then I feel there is no danger. Spiritual groups always have disillusioned members who become haters...just look at all the people around who turned against the idea of ascension and spread hate and lies about it. Look on starseeds sites and see how many people think the ascension is only about conspiracy , or about getting lots of money from NESARA, or they just see ascension as a way to run away and leave the planet...if we mention inner work or shadow work to some people they just give us a blank look. Many people belong to groups and read the books without understanding what is the real point. Damanhur has been around for for almost 40 years and must have seen hundreds of members come and go. No community is without conflict, especially spiritual ones.. for this reason, I usually avoid joining spiritual groups, but, I do like to drop in and check them out now and then.
Disillusionment & ignorance isnt bliss.. maybe Feather Winger you should have read some if not all of the horrid written information from the link I provided of the sheer manipulation & fear of those who suffered at the hands of the founder of this cult,..this one in particular I read I post here was heart wrenching READ - MAKE - BELIEVE..to quote some text from information provided from these people who have been its victims such as [ life threatening mechanisms operating inside the Community...some have even called it the Italian Scientology] - [It could even teach Scientology and the Mafia a thing or two according to local police, who, it seems, are powerless to intervene. Former members are too scared to talk or give evidence and it’s hard to build a legal case against the Community without it.] it is very sad how easy it is for humans to be easily lured by visually beautiful images..and it's even sickening that many other New Age religions are doing just that all over the internet and getting away with it..personally I dont think many have 'woken up' to the evils of cults on this planet...they just see a different shift in perceptions of it all..
Vlada, I have seen that site before and have read 20-30 of the articles. I´m sure that things are not perfect there and like any community like this people make mistakes and try things that do not work. It is whatever the members have made it to be...not sure how Damanhur has evolved as the people try news ways of living .. Is it a cult...I don´t know and the website was not convincing when it said they indoctrinate people by making them feel loved, accepted and a member of the community by using things like hugs. Guess it is up to the individual to decide the intention behind the hugs. I feel there are far more dangerous groups than an environmentally friendly group trying to live in peace (to the best of their ability at the moment). For me the churches in america that tell people that they must beat their children for this is the order of God are far more dangerous and definitely a cult. In one way the whole world is a cult, people blindly believe what they see on the TV ..the whole matrix is a cult of belief in lack and struggle. When we think for ourselves these cults are not a problem for we can see the traps and make decisions for ourselves.. I think that anything we approach with bind belief is a cult for us...
I agree with you that the Churches in America are definitely cults,and much of what you've said I can relate to,but this place was just as bad as them also..as it lured people to it with a false belief of safety & beauty. I dont think a whole website set up by the victims would have eventuated if they were all telling untruths somehow...and the creator of it was punished by a hefty jail term,and tax evasion..this in itself is a bad advertisement for the place...I certainly wouldn't promote something that created turbulence & disharmony like that to others, besides it's tainted by bad mana now & mind control,psychological suffering and physical abuse ..really those people need a lesson in humility as they placed themselves above others in a form of power over them & robbed them of their freedom,some of their life savings & personal belongings,as well as their connections to their families & loved ones,how evil is that,certainly not spiritual & all for money to line their own pockets,shame on them all..anyway moving on..
Okay...well I'd never heard of Damanhur, but can say for sure that the Music of the Plants device works, having experienced it. For the rest, energies can get distorted all over the place... ;) It's up to each of us to stay in our own centre and soul alignment.
Well you know now aye,shocking as it is, I feel sorry for those poor people who put their whole life savings into something they thought was beautiful only to be stolen from and left brainwashed by info and scared for their lives so much so they were unable to think for themselves even in total fear..its so easy to spread lies and fool people into false faiths & belief's and loose sight of ones soul alignment when such lovely things are shown and your mind is fooled...this video I shared was obviously a trigger to awaken the information on the Damanhur cult again,as I believe everything is connected and there are no such thing as coincidences..but back to the video its nice to see technology helped to address & awaken the knowledge of our trees have been trying to tell to us humans,as nature nurturers are needed right now..

Friends came to my home recently with a 'Music of the Plants' device from Damanhur - which reads the electrical pulses produced by plants and trees, then converts them into a form that the human ear can relate to via a Midi, translating the plant's electrical output into musical sounds/tones. We attached this device to a hibiscus near the house, and it 'sang' for an hour and a half non-stop, firstly with short, fast tones. When we played crystal singing bowls around the plant, it then reciprocated with long, deep tones....and when I connected from my heart to the energy of the plant, radiating love to it, it sent back the deepest long tones. It was a revelation to be able to actually hear in 3D this plant's communication. It also changed my sense of connecting to the garden, which I am aware of the tone and energy/vibration overall, but am now much more attuning with the individual vibrations of different plants...they are all unique.

Damanhur is named after the Egyptian city of Damanhur which was the site of a temple dedicated to Horus.
It was founded in 1975 by Oberto Airaudi with around 24 followers, and had grown to 800 by the year 2000. The group holds a mix of New Age and neopagan beliefs. They gained fame in 1992 through the disclosure of their secret excavation of an extensive underground temple, the Temples of Humankind, which was begun in 1978 under complete secrecy. The Italian authorities ordered construction work to stop because it had been constructed without planning approval, although artwork could continue. Retroactive permission was subsequently granted.
Damanhur's supporters claim the growth and activity of the community has revitalized the local area but people are mind washed.

However what wasnt told to the outside world is that this place is a cult and fraud had occurred and many members had all their money stolen from them and literally were left homeless and broke, you can read all about this cult here on the website made by the X members of this cult and from the horses mouths.. this man was sent to prison and his cult followers are still to this day trying to lure people to their spectacular spiritual retreat by use of the temples & its art formations....
