Entering my 8th decade soon; I am introducing the new me who is "winding" up instead of winding down at this point in life.  I have resumed working (part-time right now) after a 5 year hiatus during which I have been recovering mentally and physically from some life restricting problems.  I have been a light seeker since about a year after my first child was born and have followed many paths  (fortunately or unfortunately) often on my own.  Currently, I am focusing on developing my ability to mediate and I have been studying lessons from a mystery school.  I am writing for two different websites, www.myeverydaypsychology.com and www.mutualspiritualaffinity.com and discovered this site when searching the internet for material for them.  I am a psychologist, writer, college instructor, farm wife, mother of three, and (so far) grandmother of five young New Age possible light seekers (soon to be seven in the spring).  I specialized in child and clinical psychology in graduate school.  I have also done hypnosis (ala Dr. Milton Erickson) and a few past life regressions, individual and group. I also admire the thoughts of Dr. Elisabeth Kubler-Ross, Mother Teresa, and Dr. Albert Einstein.  I am "a life counselor" (not exactly a life coach or a spiritual counselor or a conventional psychotherapist) and am using my own personal and spiritual growth experiences (plus the knowledge I have gained living, studying and practicing metaphysics and psychology) to help others follow their paths as I follow mine.  Join me.  To see what I think, check my websites.  Joy L Baker, Ph.D.
