A 2014 posting seems perfectly relevant today since any new hire would need time to train and prepare. You don’t just walk in off the street and become an immediately effective disarmament officer. Try to apply some common sense before you lash out at information intended to help you understand what is going on. The UN is actively engaging in an illegal and malicious effort to disarm Americans.

I can´t believe how you folks buy into all these fake news stories and suck up all the slime of the fear porn. The UN Ofice o Disarmament has been around since 1998...but was working under another name before that. This group sends people into conflict zones to disarm rebel groups, remove landmines and chemical weapons... and integrate the fighters back into society...they mostly work in Africa..but will be needed in Syria as well. The UN Headquarters is in NY...this is why you send the job applications there.

FEATHER WINGER: you are wrong. This job listing was posted in 2014, and if you read the basis of this job it states that it is based on U.S. Resolution 66/265 of 2011. Obama spoke to the U.N. that year, and the topic of small arms confiscation was brought up. So much so that Forbes magazine addressed this as having strong potential for gun confiscation.. The people are more easily controlled by fear than with weapons......anyhow those in power have planes, bombs, chemical and biological weapons, drones, tanks, HAARP and nuclear weapons...some guns will not protect you from that. Have you ever thought that the NWO wants everyone armed and shooting each other....more people are shot every year in the US than die in some civil wars in other countries...saves the NWO a lot of work. Keep your gun...but, do get a better plan.

Malcolm-I figure the norteast and into most of new england will fold under marshall law-probably most of florida. the west coast, portions of the midwest-hawaii -most of the battle will be in the south and west and it will depend on how many US troops will fire on civillians -how many foriegn troops are really here? it will be a blood bath , the troops will have advanced artillery, laser guided-some missles can now take a battle cruiser out!

You don´t really think that a few civilians with guns could have saved the people from the Nazi army, or the Russian or Chinese army with their tanks, planes and bigger guns.......how many countries and their armies and weapons did it take to defeat the Nazis...
FEATHERWINGER: if a civilian Nazi militia could not theoretically defeat the Nazi army, then Hitler had no reason to confiscate their guns due to such superior firepower of the Nazi army.
