The Department of Homeland Security has an unmanned drone fleet with technology that can root out civilians who are carrying guns, government documents show.
“I am very concerned that this technology will be used against law-abiding American firearms owners,” said Alan Gottlieb, founder of the Second Amendment Foundation, in a Breitbart report. “This could violate Fourth Amendment rights as well as Second Amendment rights.”
The Predator B drone fleet has also been designed to track cell-phone signals, Breitbart reports.
The information about the fleet came to light via a Freedom of Information request from the Electronic Privacy Information Center, Breitbart said. The documents were partially redacted, but CNET found a copy that included all the text.
Breitbart reports that copy read: Predator B drones “shall be capable of identifying a standing human being at night as likely armed or not,” and should be equipped with “interception” programs that can read and track cell-phone signals, the Homeland Security document read.

Alex Jones has never advocated shooting down drones! I've been listening to his 3-hour shows daily for 5 years, and he couldn't be clearer that he DOES NOT advocate a violent take-back of freedom. As a matter of fact, he says time & time again, that the PTB would like nothing more than for patriotic citizens to pick up guns. When Adam Kokesh came on his show promoting a peaceful but armed march on DC (before Adam was arrested at a marijauna-legalizing protest), Alex did not agree with this tactic. Alex's 'take' is that we're dealing with a very criminal government, and provoking their minion police will end very badly. Alex's intent is to take back our country by waking up the 'sleepers' to the dangers of allowing a criminal government to run rough-shod over our freedoms. Alex is hated by the PTB and is misquoted constantly. "LAUNCH A MISSLE ON YOU?" I really doubt that. Maybe if there really is a major conflict between U.S. citizens and the Federal government, and the government really does break out the weapons Homeland Security has reportedly stocked away. But then you would be talking about a full-scale war between Homeland Security and the American people (AND YOU WOULD THEN HAVE TO SHOOT DOWN SUCH A DRONE, OR RISK BEING KILLED BY THESE ARMED DRONES (regardless of how well you rate yourself per "good citizen behavior")).
I very seriously doubt that Alex Jones works for the C.I.A. I know several people who are patients of his father (who is a practicing dentist (with a large practice in central Texas)), and Alex Jones has too much open knowlege on him and his ways, from growing up in Dallas to getting a black eye at Waco (after he screamed atrocities at the ATF when they murdered Davidians after they put their rifles down per ATF order). Many people I know also remember him dropping out of Austin Community College, and he reportedly talked to other students at that time about starting his own radio show.
I believe in Gandhi's practice of non-violent defense, but the current U.S. government is not the same as the British government that Gandhi went up against. The current U.S. government is training Homeland Security with shooting range practice targets that feature pregnant women and hardhats (and all the depictions on the targets are caucasion); this is designed to teach "no hesitation" when ordered to kill civilians. The Israeli army does the exact same thing.
