Haha Dawn my whole family was in stitches and we still laugh about that Thanksgiving, and every year now they ask for the pies smooshed and in a bowl...kind of like pie pudding...
that was craziness...but i still love you
Love it Assiya....I have gone vegan since that last Thanksgiving disaster and now when TG comes we have vegetarian Lasagna....Love it....less work too...I don't go pieless though, but I try to keep it off the walls, lol....
the difference between you marique and assiya is that she is trying to get other people to act the way she acts with attacks on the other way of life.
you are not pushing your belief on others or saying that their belief is "crap"
this is the fundamental difference between stating a belief and trying to present beliefs as facts.
the fact is humans are omnivores we can eat just about anything. and we will, and no one should be guilting or attacking others for what they eat.
check out this article to see some of the insanity that some, not all, people can be like when they stop thinking that their choice is a choice and start thinking that their choice should be everyones choice.
The Vegetarian Fallacy
I would never want to offend anyone who eats meat because the only reason I just eat vegetables is because of a liver problem due to advancde RA which attacked my liver with a vengeance and I had become unable to digest meat and it made me very very criticallty ill. So I just gave up on trying to eat meat. Not a judgement call at all, but a health concern that I could not ignore. Eating or not eating meat is a personal decision, not something that can or should be forced onto someone or involve judgement. Thank you for sharing the link. I found it amazing that people were making such rash insinuations and making such quantum leaps of reasoning about people who eat meat. I liked the rebuttals because it pointed out the prejudice involved about peoples choice of food.
lol.... funny stuff ... the toilet bit.. eww... haha..
I don't think I would want to go to dinner at HIS house...hahahaha....especially not after pulling it out of the toilet....euuuuu....this guy is whacked....too funny....I dropped the Thanksgiving Turkey on the floor while trying to get it into the platter one year, and it ended up with all sorts of cat hair on it...Had to wash it in the sink, then the stuffing got all mushy...That meal did not go well at all..Then I slipped on the grease on the floor and the pan with the mashed potatoes went flying out of my hands and smashed into the wall and then crashed down onto the two pies I had on the counter....Was not a good dinner, but we had fun lapping the pie fillings splatters off the wal and counterl, lol. getting the smashed potatoes off the wall and the counter was not so fun....ended up having instant mashed, and eating the pie remains in bowls with a spoon and whipped cream.
LOL this is a great laugh that i needed today.
i bet this person didnt do so well in home economics class.
